Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices
I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.

Amazing
My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

Not as smooth as I'd expect
Struggled with the tutor, some elements of the learning didn't work correctly meaning I couldn't access things as quickly as I'd like and having completed and having my work tutor marked I waited a month to learn if I'd been successful and told another 3 months for my certificate. Learning materials were set out well and easy to understand and follow and lessons considerably split into bitesize chunks. Also had to be moved from one tutor to another and my first wasn't allocated until after my first deadline so was over a third of the way through the course timescale before my proper tutor was involved.

The course was interesting and challenging. Being new to the subject studied I was concerned that I would struggle but in the end some advice from a colleague from the industry and the course materials helped me get through it all. Research is key!

Overall a good experience, however
Overall a good experience. However, found the ‘are you still there’ pop up when I’m trying to complete an assignment VERY annoying especially when I’ve written 500 words and it’s wiped out. On more than one occasion I nearly gave up!
