From my experience, Kuhl has nice products, however, I probably will never buy online from them again. They are clear that returns are customer-paid, but given so many other companies cover shipping, and you can't return Kuhl products to stores like REI that carry the brand, I probably won't ever order online again. I recently ordered shorts that look exactly like a pair I own and love, so I thought it was low risk -- but the fit is totally different and the color isn't like the image online, so I have to do the return for $7.50. I won't repeat that mistake.
Very poor, poor customer service. An item was defective and they made me pay to return it. I had to battle with customer service multiple times for them to take responsibility. I will never shop for Kuhl products again. Every time I contacted them, they didn’t know what I was talking about and never returned calls/ emails when they stated they would. :(
I ordered 4 trousers off the website, paid, got the tracking number etc. - lots of updates from the tracking service, with the final update telling me that the package has been delivered. Unfortunately I did not receive the package at all. I can't get any feedback to any query on the courier company used - other than a generic reply saying that I need to contact the seller, which is proving impossible..

Absolute bunk of a company. Had defective clothing and filed warranty return/replacement. Over a month and still nothing. I had to ship back to KUHL at MY COST on top of it all. So now, I'm out the clothing, the shipping and the replacement! Ridiculous. **UPDATE 11-13-22 After continual email and phone contact, I was finally shipped a replacement. Changed rating from 1 star to 2 stars since I did eventually get a replacement article of clothing, but still sub par customer service.

Zipper broke and kuhl co. said: "we cant repair fly zippers." That statement is bullsh**. Of course they can, but they won't. I also have had issues with the snap button

KUHL Konfidant Air Pant. Best material, great fit, no shinkage when washed, colour fastness is much better than some other KUHL pants. Best Pant for spring, autumn and in particular summer or hot climates. Generous fit seems slightly better than the cotton products and plenty of room around crutch without a saggy bottom. Great for work or leisurewear.

I had received a Raid Belt as a Gift over a year ago along with some mens clothing. Prior to dealing with their customer support incompetents i thought that they were a really Kuhl company. Now this particular belt is a a real piece of crap and no longer in their lineup for a reason, there are numerous negative reviews fir this item on REI website who no longer carry it as well, But they refuse to allow me to return it after endless emails, they now want to talk on the phone. I will echo another review here stating that their customer service people are totally incompetent and uncaring. I have purchased and returned items to North Face and Marmot with no problems in the past. Kuhl wants you to receive an authorization prior to any return and will charge you $9 for the privledge, on top of you have the privledge to pay for shipping! If I could return all of my KUHL clothing items at this point for a refund, i would gladly do so, all because of poor customer service. They fancy themselves a small family run local company, so I am sure their staffing reflects this most likely filled with Cronyism and Nepotism Incompetents! And now more of their idiocracy in trying to submit this review, which is not working on their E Form!

Hello Kuhl fans! I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Kuhl customer service is decidedly UNKUHL! I don't know about you but I never would have expected that. I mean, their name is Kuhl, right? They also konflate facts. This all started when I purchased two additional pairs of Kuhl pants for a trip (I had purchased two pairs before with no issue). I paid for 2nd day air so I would receive the order faster (for those who were wondering). After purchase, I Received an email from Kuhl telling me when the order was processed and shipped. So far so good, everything on track. Logically, I should have received them two days after shipping based on the 2nd day air for which I paid extra. Right? Easy Peasy! I even received an email stating the order would be delivered on the date coinciding with the 2nd day air for which I paid extra. Unfortunately, logic was in short supply that day and, low and behold, against all that is good and right in the world, I received the purchase (gasp!) one day beyond the second day air, for which I paid extra. I thought to myself, alright, no big deal, I'll just let Kuhl know and put it in their court as to how this wrong would be righted. Although I was sure Kuhl would do something to correct their wrong as their name is "Kuhl," right? I popped a little email to Kuhl Kustomer service letting them know of this little discrepancy. Astonishingly, and I am not astonished easily, in response to my email, Matt from Kuhl Kustomer service, told me (I would like to say smugly, but am unable to as I was not aware of such at that particular moment) that, because it takes 1-2 days to process, even though it took only one, Kuhl had Komplied with the 2nd day air shipment promise. Of Kourse this ignored Kuhl's own email telling me when the order shipped. Moreover, the Kuhl website says nothing of this little tidbit of misrepresentation. I thought, I'll just let Matt know of this, and he'll make it right. Their name is "Kuhl" and most Matts I know would never think to not make something like this right. I pointed out that Kuhl had konfirmed the shipping date via email but I received the purchase three days thereafter, one day beyond the 2nd day shipping for which I paid extra. Kuhl, essentially, and arrogantly, told me to pound (kompact) sand. Kan you believe that?!! Not even an apology! Needless to say, but just in kase I'll say it anyway, I was konsiderably disappointed with Kuhl. Dont' worry about me though. This is tiny set back and I will go elsewhere for future purchases. Likely a kompany that Kherishes (to much of a stretch?) its kustomers and doesn't abuse their loyalty. All I was looking for was some akkountability and maybe an apology. Unfortunately, I received nothing of the sort leading me to the stark and sad realization that Kuhl is not cool. You've been warned and you're welcome. I hope this was helpful.

Jeg har været en tilfreds bruger af kuhls bukser gennem mange år. De sidste par år har jeg ikke kunnet købe bukserne i min størrelse/farve i Danmark, og fik en ven til at købe to par i USA. Fik dem for en uge siden, og begge par viste sig ikke at kunne lukke, en fejl på trykknaplukningen. Kontaktede KUHL i flere omgange, for til sidst at få svaret : “Det kunne de ikke hjælpe mig med, men jeg kunne sende bukserne tilbage så ville de reperere dem for min regning. Alternativt ville de foreslå at jeg fandt et sted hvor jeg kunne få sat nye trykknapper i, for egen regning .” Kundeservice ? Jeg har købt mine sidste KUHL bukser. Desværre.

Yet another supposedly 'conscious' company that does not stand behind their product. Bought a pair of green pants that within two washes had begun fading and turning orange. Brought this up to their customer service team, who insisted that it was 'not a manufacturing defect' and told me that 'there is nothing further that we can do for you'. A poor-quality product, and even worse customer service. Buyer beware: spend your money elsewhere.

Great stuff. I love their jeans- super durable, comfy and well designed. What is great about Kuhl (and where they beat the competition) is that they still have a more european fit. So, if you are like me (tall with long limbs) you dont have to have a neck like a linebacker for their stuff to fit. Patagonia used to fit like this, but no more (though I think Patagonia is more of a gear/outdoor activity outfitter- and they are tops at that). Kuhl also makes very smart designs with cell-phone pockets and articulated knees. Materials are also really good. I have one pair of 3 year old Kuhl jeans that I wear more often than I should publicly admit. They look new. More traditional jeans are dead in a year. Great company! Dont change your fitting :)
