Very Poor Property Management Service
As a quick summary, they are not managing anything after the contract is signed.
I bought this buy-to-let property from Keenans, they are doing alright, therefore I do expect they will offer me the same level of service when using them to manage to let off the property.
Their salesperson is passionate and impressive therefore I’m happy to sign the contract with them. But very unfortunate, I guess that salesperson is the only person who is passionate about their property management team. As agreed, they did quote all items that need repair or work to me, and I transferred the required amount in less than 12 hours, I think it’s reasonable to expect they will act quickly as they already received payment, not necessarily in days but at least within 1-2wks, and I waited for 6 weeks they still not complete the work (the work should take 3-4 day). Most importantly, I still have no clue about when they will complete the job.
I called/sent emails to them numerous times, and I never get a direct reply to my question, I’ll call you back later is the only reply they use but they either do not call back / not answer your question directly.
Maybe updating the status of work regularly is too difficult for them, but I believe it’s very basic when someone says they are managing something, let the customer know what to expect, and have no surprise. But their property management team failed to do so, I don’t know when the property can be let, what else needs to be done, how long will it keep unoccupied, and how many more bills I need to pay.
Now it ends up in a lose-lose situation, especially during such a market situation which is out of the property to rent, but I must keep mine unoccupied and not get any rental income, and Keenan doesn’t get the commission too.
I tried to look for a channel to complain, but it seems it's not available.
