[22:22, 13.07.2025] Duygu Erdoğdu: My Instagram account has been inaccessible since June 28. I submitted my ID and selfie video on July 5, and the system said I would receive a reply within 3–4 business days, but no response ever came. I have two-factor authentication enabled, but I’ve lost my backup codes. I submitted every form multiple times, used different devices, and followed all instructions — still nothing. Instagram is calling everyone a Pedo! then BAN THEM

My Instagram account (@chamseldinart) was permanently banned with a serious false accusation. No appeal, no human review, no evidence. I'm a public figure and this has destroyed my brand and reputation. I contacted support many times and got only bots. I submitted GDPR complaints.

AI moderation = thousands of accounts lost

Instagram suspended my account with no chances to get it back. Thousands of people have now lost their memories because of AI moderation.

My Facebook and Instagram I had for over 15 years was banned by the new faulty AI and they refuse to help me.

I have autism and used by accounts for autism support groups and to stay in contact with family and friends and they took that right away from me. The loss of my accounts has caused great emotional distress and has affected my mental health a lot as I now feel isolated and alone. I would give 0 stars if I could.

IG wrongly banned thousands of users on…

IG wrongly banned thousands of users on June 20th - June 30th for no reason. Because my account was linked I lost all access to my Meta Quest 3 and over $300 worth of VR games. Unban all the accounts immediately.

Ce n'est plus du tout ce que c'était

Je reçois presque tous les jours "nous suspectons un comportement automatisé sur votre compte" depuis plusieurs mois, je me suis toujours justifiée et maintenant ils suspendent carrément mon compte. 2 fois en 3 jours. J'ai envoyé plusieurs messages au service d'assistance, j'ai envoyé un long mail à support@instagram. com et support-android@instagram. com (je met un espace car nous n'avons pas le droit d'écrire d'adresse mail ici) et ils ne sont même pas capable de me répondre et de m'expliquer quel est le problème avec mon compte. Rien n'y fait. À côté de ça, de nombreux harceleurs et de gens qui sont sur les réseaux sociaux uniquement pour déverser leur haine, n'ont rien. J'ai signalé plusieurs fois des comptes ou des commentaires graves ou très problématiques, presque toujours la même réponse : "ce compte/commentaire ne va pas à l'encontre de nos standards de la communauté" vos standards sont à revoir d'urgence et un comportement humain serait peut être plus approprié sur votre application, je vous informe que derrière un compte, il y a un humain (enfin non visiblement moi je suis un robot) c'est sincèrement déplorable on a beau signaler les problèmes de multiples fois c'est totalement ignoré. Allez sur Twitter, Facebook ils ne vous traiteront jamais comme ça !!!! Y'a que instagram qui pose des problèmes alors qu'il n'y en a pas !

Instagram and their algorithm plus…

I’ve been facing major issues with Instagram’s moderation system. Their algorithm and AI consistently fail to recognize real, non-violating accounts and instead disable them without any clear reason or warning. Since January 2024 I’ve lost 87 accounts including fan pages and business profiles simply for using the same phone number, IP address, or device. Even verified profiles are not safe anymore. What’s more frustrating is that actual violating content like nudity and explicit videos stays up. Meanwhile, accounts that follow all community guidelines are being unfairly punished. Instagram’s appeal system is broken. There is no real review process, no transparency, and no way for users to properly defend themselves. On the other hand, platforms like Twitter (X) are doing a better job by using human review for impersonation, fraud, or suspicious activity before disabling accounts. Instagram needs to fix its system. Creators, fan pages, and small businesses are being shut down without cause. If things do not change, the platform will continue to lose genuine users who simply want a fair and safe space to create.

I've been on Instagram for years

I've been on Instagram for years. Suddenly I am banned for "abusing" it.. they never even warned me I broke any rules. I tried to appeal and immediately got banned. Will never be using this app again.. not if they don't recover my account and properly tell me what went wrong.

I lost 5 IG accounts over the years

I lost 5 IG accounts over the years, due to the impossibility to retrieve passwords or to move accounts from an old phone to a new one. Bank apps are easier to use than this ridiculos social media app. There is no customer support whatsoever, password resets procedures go in never ending circle, and you are left with no option but to lose the account. Absolutely disgusting service.
