The agent was very helpful, honest and informative. Unfortunately I was unable to get my problem resolved, through no fault of the agent. I lost wi fi connection whilst trying to resolve why I was not receiving roaming data whilst in Iceland
Recently, my partner and I, both with iD have been unable to make or receive either calls or texts. People have tried to contact us and cannot get through. I can't call out. I've contacted customer service and they tell me I'm lying, but other customers are reporting the same issues. There's just no network. I'm paying for the ability to miss important phone calls. I'll be leaving iD as soon as I have time to organise a new contract.
When I first joined I.D Mobile over 8 years ago I found it to be very affordable, but recently it has gone down hill, the signal is terrible, frequent outages the phone I have on contract with them has now developed a pink line down one side of the screen so I tried to get another contract for a new phone and got turned down,I have 5 more months left on my existing contract stuck with a defective phone. Just had so much trouble with this network The upfront costs are now so high I've decided I won't be upgrading and will be changing my network provider... I do not recommend this mobile phone network.

I run out of data 3 days before my plan renew at the end of the month and and I upgraded my plan. My current then plan was £8 monthly and new plan is £10 monthly. As I upgraded I contacted the customer service immediately as my bill (£25.21) was significantly more than I should pay and I tried to explain why am I being charged such amount as my monthly is £8 and even the new plan which activated only for 3 days is £10. At worst case combine both plan is £18 but I did not receive a clear explanation and still don't know why. I was promised a £20 credit and that will be deducted of my bill. However I am being charged £25.21 and I have tried to contact the customer support but I was on the queue for over an hour and it never got anywhere. As I'm writing this review (frustrated) I wanted to file a complaint and went through the form what was needed as I submitted I was redirected to the live chat again and got hold on Khayalethu. As right now it has been 55 minutes and I have received 8 messages from the Khayalethu and two of them are "Thanks for your patience. I’ll be with you shortly" and two other ones are the introduction at the beginning of the chat. It is going in a circle and apparently there is no record of any credit which I was promised. I still don't know why am I been overcharged and I have no idea what is going on. After an hour back and forth I was able to file the complaint. Absolutely shocking customer service, it seems they don't have any idea and they never answer any questions that you have. I have been with ID mobile for ages, they were great but this is appalling l.
I've recently changed from Three to IDMOBILE who uses Three network anyway. I've got a plan 4 times cheaper than previous. I carefully chose a 1 year plan just in case i was unlucky with the service. phone is working as before but have been so worried and stressed about the switch over, due to so many scathing customer reviews here, I made my first call today and bingo my actual phone part is working better than ever. Signal is as before. I live in Rural Norfolk which is always a bit choppy. Everything went as it should. I have phone, Signal and I'm already messaging to family abroad. Please don't sign up to financial commitments you might regret. I haven't tried to contact the company which seems to be a terrible thing for some unfortunate customers to try. A 1 year cheap sim only deal is what I could afford to walk away from if necessary. CAVEAT EMPTOR.
Since joining Id, everything has gone as it should, no issues with network coverage the app is great and easy to use. Far superior to my previous network which had numerous coverage issues.
Wish i had read the reviews on idmobile. They are the worst when trying to speak to someone. Then send you demanding letters of payment when you have already been trying to communicate with them. You can’t even access your app to due to technical difficulties. Terrible
Purchased my 1st contract phone in 13yrs as always had pay as you go phones, this was a treat to myself as been a long time. The process was very straightforward and so easy to set up, would highly recommend to anyone who wants a contract phone. Would shop around next to get the best value but the contract is only for 2yrs, which suited me most.
Have a customer service that is effective.
Awful from start to finish. Failed to port my number over. This then resulted in me having no number at all assigned to me. Contacted their live chat and spoke to Sinazo, who could not have been less helpful if they tried. Despite knowing I now have no access to a phone number thanks to them, they kept advising I would receive a call back. Sinazo the ended the chat, as they ran out of excuses. Joined the chat queue again and got through to Storm. Storm was rather rude and as unhelpful as Sinazo was. My chat with Storm was then abruptly ended, but not before this message: You're most welcome, Carl. I am glad I could assist. Thanks so much for being such an amazing customer, we truly treasure customers like yourself. After the chat, there will be a short survey where you can rate the level of service that you received from me, you would just need to click on the top right X and close the chat, and the survey will pop up. This will actually help me immensely.
Have been with them a couple of times because of price but compared to a similar provider e.g. Lebara, but there customer service and user friendliness is very poor.
