Terrible experience. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. I contacted them multiple times by phone and email to rearrange a delivery and got no help at all. In the end, I was charged a hefty return fee, didn’t receive the item I ordered, and wasted hours dealing with an unhelpful delivery service. They use poorly rated couriers, which I’ve since seen mentioned in other reviews. I ended up going to a high street retailer instead and placed the same order with no fuss. Avoid.
Never got my sofa as the delivery company they use Arrow XL are shockingly inefficient. Address entered incorrectly. Failure to adhere to their own policies of contact prior to delivery, and autonomy to change delivery dates with no consideration for working people’s lives. I wasted so much time on the phone to both the delivery company and The actual clients. Had I known that this would be such an issue I
Would have avoided this company at all costs. I’m about to request my refund - watch this space!
First a quick appraisal for the staff they have working for them - specifically Roisin. She was incredibly calm, and easy to talk to.
I had ordered a Ometa Air Conditioner in Space Grey" but when it arrived it showed "Black" on the box and the casing itself looks black.
After calling and getting through to Roisin she explained that it was the correct item that had been sent, just that the images being used online do not truly marry up to what you get. To which a suitable resolution was made on the phone and actioned within a couple of minutes.
Moral of the story, don't trust what you see online, its all photoshopped.
As for the company itself, you do need to make sure you're selling what your showing. I could have quite easily... lost my cool... about this whole situation. Delivered in a fairly timely manner, and overall experience was pleasant enough. You've been spared 2 stars because of Roisin.
We couldn't find the legs and emailed customer service. They responded right away - apologised for the inconvenience and informed us they were inside the sofa via a zip compartment.
Ordered a chair and there was a bit of an issue with delivery. The Home Detail team dealt with the matter in a friendly and competent manner.
The chair itself is extremely comfortable and matched the description on the website
Very helpful delivery driver. Delivery communication not so helpful as text to say Friday so waited in all day. Arrived Monday afternoon. However love the sofa bed. Excellent quality for the price and really well packaged with instruction leaflet.
Bought a Blair riser recliner for my husband who is in a care home. Got it delivered there, paid for rapid delivery. On the second day after order got email from arrow XL saying it would be delivered next day between 10-12am. Went to visit him at 1 o’clock he was already sitting in it. Photos do not do it justice this chairi is a beautiful soft chair ordered Dark Grey,. Husband does not speak much but he managed to say COSY
Bought 2 seater velvet chesterfield sofa which we love but had a minor issue with, contacted customer service and a replacement was sent to us within days. I cannot recommend Home Detail enough absolutely outstanding service AND after service ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
