Clean and tidy store
I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous
Home Bargains in Albany Road, Cardiff
I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

I am so disappointed
I am so disappointed. I got accused of stealing today and the worker had such an attitude copying what i was saying and he did not deal with the situation well whatsoever.

My favourite shop 😆🙌 and when I realised you did a flower delivery for the fraction of the price of other florist/supermarkets I was buzzing. Free delivery too ❤️ I’ve ordered 3 now and they were all delivered the very next day and looking beautiful 😍 thank you for being affordable and professional. Definitely recommend xx

Always plenty of bargain buys
Home Bargains is first call whenever I need something 'useful'. There's a wide range of bric-a-brac, DIY accessories, brushes, etc, if you don't need brand names. A paint brush is a paint brush. Turps is turps. I haven't checked rigidly, but their prices generally seem acceptably low but it's important to be alert for the 'cost per 100g' factor. Too many stores are selling cheap because they are giving smaller quantities. This can be an advantage ! Kids whining for a choc bar? Isn't it wiser to get them one which is smaller and cheaper?

I work in one of the stores, one of the managers that I work with was quite rude with me today to the point I decided start looking elsewhere for suitable employment. The other mangers are fine and so are the other staff. Avoid the store that I work in at all costs.

I wanted to say a huge BIG thank you to Dean and Jason at the Home bargains Chesser Avenue Edinburgh Store. I had a flat tyre so went into the store to buy a tyre pump, Dean took me to the items and showed me how to work the pump as he had bought one recently then he went over and above and said he would pump my tyre up, he spoke to anther member of staff Jason who was available at the time to help so he pumped my tyre up enough to allow me to go to the garage, I can't thank them enough. Amazing Customer service, so friendly and helpful.

Poor Service
I ordered several items from Home Bargains. The package arrived with one pack of bath towels missing. I immediately contacted the firm by e mail and received a response which more or less accused me of being wrong. Since advising them that I am definitely missing the bath towels I have heard nothing despite e mailing them twice. I am unable to find any way of contacting them by phone and so I am left with paying for an item I have not received. I will certainly not order from this company again and would advise any one to think carefully before ordering from them.

Bought a paint roller did not get a receipt so checked out the item in the carpark only to find it not fit for purpose toke the item back in with in 5 mins and was refused a refund saying the product was not faulty which can clearly be seen in the photos The store manager Donna was very helpful
