Recently sold a house in Duns through Hastings and I have to say that the whole experience was made completely stress free by Emma and her team. We were updated regularly with the whole process being explained at every stage, the marketing was very professional and everyone in the team was polite and courteous at all times. Excellent service
Abby was fantastic! Selling a house can be very stressful, but her professional manner and quick responses to any queries, made the process as pain free as possible. The purchaser had asked for early entry meaning timescales were tight, however Abby facilitated all aspects of the sale, allowing the deadline to be met. I can't thank her enough for her work.

Courteous, efficient and highly professional
Hastings Legal did my Will last year and some conveyancing this year. They were courteous, efficient and highly professional. I'm glad I've chosen to go with a traditional high-street firm instead of one of the big names.

Seamless from start to finish
Hastings legal made both the selling of my flat and onward purchase incredibly seamless. Ron Hastings came to do my appraisal the morning after my enquiry and his knowledgeable suggestions helped me make sure my property was ready to market. My marketing package brought out the very best in my flat, and I have no doubt helped sell it so successfully, especially the drone footage. My sale was handled brilliantly by Jan who was always available at the end of the phone to answer questions and was always so helpful and honest, I found the communication throughout the whole thing second to none - with so many knowledgeable staff working as a team - it’s no wonder it all felt seamless to me! My solicitor for both was Vicky Maxwell - with the expertise and confidence Vicky has, I knew everything was in good hands but it’s her personable approach that is a cut above the rest - with every meeting/phone call left feeling positive. They say that moving home is one of the great stresses in life but Hastings made this feel rather easy and for that I am so happy I went with them!

Property sale
I chose Hastings legal to sell a property. The estate agency team were very professional. My thanks go to Suzanne Burn, Alastair and Lesley as well as the girls at Eyemouth, Duns and Kelso offices. Natasha handled the legal side which proved more complicated but with perseverance and patience the sale was completed. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Hastings and would use again when needed.

Great service from Ricky Hope at Hastings Legal. It took us eight months to sell a property in London, but Ricky completed our purchase in the Borders in just eight weeks. He was great at advising us at each step of the way and the whole process went through without a hitch. Would highly recommend.

Excellent experience! We used Hastings for a house purchase and it was smooth, easy and professional. Awful communication for high end properties
Awful communication and can totally agree with all the other poor reviews below this. If landlords understood how bad these people are at their roles and customers services with high end properties is shocking. Big shout out to Olivia as well, who I can put down as one of the worst people to have a CLIENT FACING job I've come across. Please avoid this agency at all costs for tenants and landlords.
