Recently sold a house in Duns through Hastings and I have to say that the whole experience was made completely stress free by Emma and her team. We were updated regularly with the whole process being explained at every stage, the marketing was very professional and everyone in the team was polite and courteous at all times. Excellent service
Abby was fantastic! Selling a house can be very stressful, but her professional manner and quick responses to any queries, made the process as pain free as possible. The purchaser had asked for early entry meaning timescales were tight, however Abby facilitated all aspects of the sale, allowing the deadline to be met. I can't thank her enough for her work.

Foreign-based property sale
As a foreign-based seller, I was unfamiliar with the UK property sales process. The team at Hastings was incredibly patient, answering all of my questions and helping me gain a clear understanding and the confidence needed to move forward. The UK business model, whilst different from North America, made perfect sense and added value at every stage. There’s no duplication, which means no wasted time, and everyone’s expertise is maximized. The operation runs smoothly, offering prompt and efficient service. I especially appreciated the regular status updates, which kept me well-informed throughout the process. The multiple locations are also a significant advantage for clients. We used Hastings to sell our property and then to make an onward purchase. From start to finish the process was very straightforward and I can’t thank the team enough for making it so stress free for us! Our house sold within 2 weeks and we were then able to make an onward purchase soon after. A huge thanks to the whole team. Particular shout out to Jan who led on our sale, secured us so many viewings, kept us posted with feedback and was so lovely with it all too. Our house sold within 2 weeks! Donna who did our negotiations and was so reassuring and kind. And Abby who was our solicitor for both sale and purchase. Abby communicated all updates with us along the way, was so efficient and answered any queries we had very quickly. Relocating to the Borders
Having accepted an offer on our home in Kent, we first made contact to enquire about lettings, since wanted to bide our time and find the right property 'all in good time.' When we were up in the Borders on holiday we met with the relocation advisor, and this changed our lives. Within two days, and while on holiday we had viewed, offered on and had a revised offer accepted on a property that ticks all our boxes. Standouts were Cathy and Kerry, but all at Hastings we had dealings with were courteous, attentive and responded in good time to emails. A very positive experience.
