Having recently bought a property on The Rise through Goodfellows, I wanted to say we found Lynn, James and the rest of the staff extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. They were all very professional and kept us upto date throughout the process. I would highly recommend Goodfellows and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I was purchasing my house at the end of March 2025 which was undoubtedly a very busy time for all involved in house sales as a lot of people were looking to buy before 31 March. The estate agent for this property, Jonathan Walugembe, went above and beyond to help both myself and the seller get the purchase over the line in time, enabling communications between all parties to move as quickly and efficiently as possible, which was so helpful in the circumstances and for which we were all extremely grateful. Particularly as I'm aware it was probably a very busy time for all. Thank you Jonathan!
I also spoke with other estate agents from Goodfellows when looking at other houses earlier on in the process who were genuine, friendly, and able to provide helpful local knowledge about the area and purchasing within this area, so it was a good experience all round.
Im very pleased with my collaboration with Goodfellows so far. Especially Maria Castle who has been assisting me in my tenancy, shes been so fast in replying and fixing the things ive requested. Great service
The service Goodfellows has provided me as a landlord has been excellent. I would like to particularly mention Emmanuel Kyei who as my agent has and is excellent.

Awful agency, they discriminate against potential tenants with children and those who are on disability related benefits. When you explain to them that they are acting unlawfully they blame it on the landlords and/ or referencing companies. You tell them you can provide a deposit and rent in advance plus references but they don't care. Then they retain your details on file and don't even bother to contact you when you send enquiries about other properties. They are extremely prejudiced and discriminatory in their renting practices. Once again, they do not care if you are on full uncapped benefits DUE TO DISABILITY OR CARING FOR SOMEONE WITH A DISABILITY, they do not care if you can PROVE that you can afford the rent. Because all they care about is discriminating against vulnerable people.
Incredibly unprofessional and rude. My family drove one hour to make an appointment (the only time they had apparently) at 9.45 this morning. They were left in the cold waiting outside, only to be told there was 5 minutes before the next appointment. The agent was in the property, knew the time of our appointment very well, and could have let them in or completed the first viewing in time. He offered no apology. It is completely unacceptable to be treated this way.
I rented an apartment through them.
A very rude agent. They ask for home visit without given prior notice.
3 months before the tenancy end, they ask for our decision regarding continuous of renting and ask for our response ASAP.
Later, they will contact you 3-4 times every week about home visit.
I am highly disappointed with the Good fellows morden branch. We rented a property through them which was managed by the agent and landlord was in India. The day we entered the house kitchen roof started to leak .... they gave us nightmares in fixing the issue as they kept on telling landlord is not approving the request. Issue remained unresolved till the date ( after a year ) we moved out.
Now even after moving out agents are not proving us with our checkout inventory report even after multiple calls and emails ( it's been over a month now) and not releasing the deposit again saying landlord is not responding.
Please beware of this agency as you will pay your full rent still they will give you mental harassment.
I am especially upset from Matt Clifford, who is not responding to our simple request of providing checkout inventory report and information regarding out deposit.
