Fantastic Experience

I had a fantastic experience overall with G&M, right from the initial quote stage through to a recent claim. All my questions were answered by the sales team. They never made me feel rushed or pressured. When it came to making a claim for some physiotherapy, the claims team was extremely helpful and efficient throughout.

So far so good!

Just joined this healthcare insurance, we have received the documents today but unfortunately once we tried to login we experienced problems. I joined the chat available on the website and this gentlemen, Michael Sherman has been so helpful and kind, he actually helped us solving the login issue!! So, great experience so far. Thanks

Difficult to review an insurance policy…

Difficult to review an insurance policy without having claimed. Price was good. Digital portal for managing the policy needs some work, but apart from that okay.

Reasonable service

Good service, however I when wanted to amend my policy several months into its annual term (thereby reducing the monthly costs) I was advised that I couldn't do this until the policy was due for renewal. Requested that the policy therefore be terminated and that I'd move to a cheaper supplier. Suddenly, I was advised that the policy could be amended - why put the customer through this unnecessary turmoil?

General and medical were one of the…

General and medical were one of the first to help support my charity mission and were the first to sponsor my Original team sementa kit, the idea was to raise £500 over 5 games in memory of my mum who passed away but has now turned into 94 games and close to £20,000 I really appreciate their faith and support. Also everyone I have dealt with especially Michael Sherman and Misha Griffin have been really nice and helpful

Ask questions and understand

Not had to make a claim yet so cannot give 5 stars but what attracted me was they cover existing conditions, for me it’s diabetes, unlike the bigger firms (Bupa were just rude about it) Being insurance I googled good questions to ask so, whilst not perfect, I know what I can and can’t get from my cover. Tom was good enough to even call me back later on as I had to go to work. I’m glad I spoke to them, comparison sites are fine if you just want to look at the cheapest offer but you buy blind and I made that mistake before.

Waste of money!

I can't believe that you have to put a letter in to get a decision about your health. Then it takes 5 days for them to think about it - ridiculous! Wasn't advised about that when I took out the policy

Superb all round service

My family and I have been on cover for just over five years and we have made a few claims on our policy. I had to supply them with a referal letter from my doctor which I thought would take ages at first, but I had my acceptance back a few days later, booked in for treatment and General & Medical handled the rest. Highly recommend!

I called to get approval for my wife's…

I called to get approval for my wife's back and was told that it couldn't be done, then after an argument of about 10 min they said they would accept a letter from the doctor, however nothing could be done until you had received her records, this is not the delay tactic you need when you have a painful back. I thought I paid over £4k for the top tear of cover so this did not happen. I am looking to move to BUPA who have been very good in the past.
