Gary Mcgowan called today to carry out a gas check on my property. He called me before arrival and was spot on time. He was very polite and very knowledgeable about his job providing me with some good energy saving tips. A credit to the company.
These guys did an electric boiler install for me and left the small flat looking like a hospital room with cabling boxing visible and stuck onto walls, a giant red klaxon alarm and a big red off on button in the hall. It turned out that they didn’t even hook the hot water upto the boiler, just the heating, selling me my existing aged immersion setup as if it was something new. The whole thing didn’t make sense and I complained but they didn’t want to know and got me to pay for amendments. I used their complaints process and of course this has led to radio silence.

Shambles of a company .cancelled twice without any warning ,oredered parts them blamed parts for not fitting boiler..said they would ring and update me on when repair will be completed and still waiting for call ..I’d advise you you ring a

They and their team's customer service when I was super stressed was hugely appreciated!!
Gas-Elec did a fantastic job installing a new gas boiler at our property to replace our old oil boiler. Initially a Gas-Elec engineer came to our property to assess what heating options would be available to us and how economical each solution would be so we could make an informed choice to replace our oil heating system. Once we decided that a gas system was the best solution for us, their 2 installers worked extremely hard over a weekend to fit the new combi-boiler as well as install new radiators. They were incredibly efficient, polite, tidied up after themselves and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. A few weeks later another Gas-Elec engineer came out to install the Hive system which now means we can control our new heating system from anywhere through our phones. We have noticed the benefits immediately as the house gets warmer quicker and stays warmer for longer. The old hot and cold water tanks were removed by Gas-Elec giving us more space in the loft and airing cupboard. We are delighted with the results and would really recommend them. During my yearly Gas Safety Check, engineer Denis found a fault with my gas hob. Denis checked the boiler, radiators, alarms and hob. The hob was replaced after a couple of weeks and the new hob is working great. Denis was focused and efficient in all aspects of the safety checks in my home and I certainly could not fault him. Thank you Denis for keeping us safe! Thank you to Vicki and Andrea from gas-elec Group for being pleasant and attentive during our calls.
Awful and scary experience with this company.
Completely incompetent.
They didn't turn up for annual gas/elec check three times in a row without any explanation or call.
When they finally did attend they marked the boiler as immediate danger and I overheard someone in the office telling the engineer over the phone to "leg it".
Boiler replacement was a similar fiasco including admissions that the engineers hadn't even looked at the boiler properly.
Very rude, very incompetent, very big time wasters.
Avoid like the plague.
Unfortunately for me I had no choice in the matter as my landlord chose them.
First time with this company. A bit slow to respond to annual service request via Sedgewick but was most impressed with the engineer who arrived well within the time slot quoted. Very thorough and a pleasure to deal with Mr. Turner.
