Had Marcus T at my home this morning and I could not be happier. He was polite, respectful and even taught me a thing or two about my boiler. He engaged with my dog and toddler too and it made such a nice difference to have some actually take the time to chat vs rushing in and out to just get a job done.
Had a new boiler installed by Gary. He’s done everything in 2 days whilst keeping our house tidy. It seemed like a big job, but he made it look easy. Very friendly lad and great in explaining everything. Would definitely recommend.

Came back from holiday to a broken boiler - No heating or hot water. Hannah at Gas-Elec sourced a new boiler and had it fitted in a day, after only a days wait. Fantastic service and nice guys who did the work. I could not ask for better.

Marcus was so nice and polite, he was on time, had his own inside slippers, explained and answered all our questions and he knew exactly what to do, after 3 hours i had the gas certificate on my email! Excellent service, i will use it again next year.

We are very pleased with Gas-Elec's swift response to our need for a new boiler. Gary is a great guy - friendly, efficient and very clear in his explanations of how the new boiler functioned. His follow up call to make sure all was OK was much appreciated. From first to last Gary gave us every confidence in his his ability to deal with our need for a new boiler.
What a pleasure to have such a friendly caring Engineer to work in my house. Gary’s thoughtfulness/empathy is a very rare quality to find these days. I would have no reservations in recommending him and look forward to meeting him again when he has to return next year.
I felt completely ripped off after a recent gas safety inspection of a rental property I own. I was unaware there was a change in legislation which required carbon monoxide detectors. Gas-Elec called me to say that carbon monoxide detectors were required and they could not issue a gas safety certificate without them. But they said there were £45 plus VAT each and I needed two of them. This seemed unreasonably expensive but I felt trapped because I would have to forfeit the £78 inspection fee if I didn't buy the CO detectors from them. I told them to go ahead but was later shocked to discover that the Kidde K5CO they supplied were only £16.50 in Argos compared to £54.00 from Gas-Elec. I doubt I'm going to use Gas-Elec again.
Had an engineer booked twice to carry out an EICR. First time postponed second time cancelled on the day! It's been a month now and we have to find another company that can help. Don't waste your time with them!
