My elderly parents had a slow dripping leak on their Boiler that had been fitted by 'GAIR GAS'. After several visits and very poor workmanship, a 'singular' slow leak turned into multiple major leaks!!! Which in turn, led to a new Boiler being required. The new Boiler was poorly fitted and this also leaked. A new flu was also fitted poorly and looked absolutely awful!!! The above took several weeks and several unsuccessful visits, showcasing poor and uncaring management/service to 'very loyal' customers of theirs. Furthermore, we realised that their monthly charge for 'Boiler Cover' was over double what other professional and 'trustworthy' companies charge and my unaware parents had faithfully paid this for many, many years! GAIR GAS used to be a nice family run company, that cared for its clients... sadly, they have turned into a larger company who care about profit and NOT their loyal clientele.
Had some plumbing repairs done on my old bathroom, not hard stuff, very reasonable price and they moved things around to get the bathroom working quicker for us.
They replaced my back boiler with a self condensation boiler in a new position. Great service very neat and tidy.

Friendly and reliable staff. We had a Quooker hot/cold water tap fitted, Clear instructions of how to use were given and not just handed the manual. Efficient staff from original consultation to the fitting. Would definitely recommend Gair and if needed will not hesitate to use again.

I incorrectly thought I could change a defective light switch. This proved substantially more complicated than I had hoped. I contacted Gair who now offer electrical services. Tom came out and fitted in total 7 new switches. He was on time, polite, tidy and extremely competent. This is an excellent service provided by a local company and I highly recommend Gair for any electrical issues you may have in your home.

I contacted Gair following a recommendation and they responded quickly. They managed to install a new boiler very quickly and I was impressed with the quick response. Very happy with the service and I will continue to use them.

Zack arrived in good time. He got on with the job of replacing our bathroom light with an LED light with shade. Zack left our house tidy and made sure l was happy with the new light.

Having had the problem diagnosed and part ordered at the end of last week, Isaac and his colleague came to fit the new programmer today. They worked together efficiently and were very good about teaching me how to use the new programmer. They cleaned up perfectly when they finished and were easy to have around β¦ friendly and very personable. Thank you! The communication from the office was excellent too!

Our boiler failed to start and a morning call to Gair Home Services had a very helpful and reassuring response, promising a visit from an engineer within 24 hours. In fact an engineer came later that morning and by early afternoon our boiler was up and running again. This prompt and professional service reflects our experience of Gair over many years and they are a company which we thoroughly recommend.

From getting a quote which we accepted to getting the new combi boiler installed, Gair Home Services were excellent. They listened to what we were looking for and explained everything that needed to be done, everything was confirmed in writing and customer service could not be faulted. Sam and Tyler the two engineers who changed our combi boiler were both great. Friendly and polite and cleared up after the job was finished, Showed us all the controls, and how to set them up. Told us any problems we could phone for help/advice. Would highly recommend the company.

Most knowledgeable and competent gas engineer carried out the service and gave advice on how the controls should be properly adjusted. Identified that one thermostat required new batteries, and checked the settings on the remaining controls.
