They charge you a subscription fee automatically without you ever signing up for it and make some long winded bs way of going through their site cramming their product subscription down your throat to get your refund back, we will see if I even get the refund back…
Great product. I had a question and needed assistance. My email was answered promptly and the request was handled by the time they emailed. Great customer service!!
I didn't know about any subscription on this but today after having the device for 3 days I get a bill for 99.99 for a subscription.
They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.

Back in the day, I was a motorhead, just loved fixing my own ride. Now that I am older & on a fixed income, I rely on my FIXD device for service requests from my current vehicle to keep it running it's best. And the weekly FIXD newsletter is absolutely pure gold! I recommend FIXD to everyone I know.
I got the device to check codes on your vehicle it only worked on one of my vehicles. I cancelled before my trial was done but I was I still charged $69.99 and they won't give me a refund. I'm very pissed cause when I got the plug in device didn't know about the fee. I feel this is a scam if you can't get your money back. I tried the device and decided before trial was over that $69.99 wasn't worth it. I wouldn't even pay half of that. Thanks
They have a video that says you need to register the sensor but there is no place to register it on the app. And if you go to fixd.com there is no place to log in, only places to purchase the product. No customer service, no phone number to talk to a representative. Lots of issues trying to get help.
Fixd SCAM! They charge you for the subscription! Beware Do NOT BUY. I lost $70! Look up FIXD SCAM on internet!
Just wanted to drop a note and tell how awesome this product is. I used it for a different reading the other day. I have the unit in my main driver all the time but I was looking at buying a used car on a car lot. I thought….let’s put the FIXD unit in this used car to see if there are any giddiness secrets the dealership wasn’t telling me. Sure enough.. it threw about 6 different codes. Two of them were major repairs. I showed the dealer the codes and he immediately tried to cover himself and that it was not that big of a deal. Well it was to me. Saved me $1000 + in future repairs. Needless to say I did not buy the car. It’s my story guys , and tell the users to carry it with them when they go shopping for another vehicle. It will save them money.
Frankly I cannot judge if the scanner is doing anything because the app isn't working. Tried on two separate phones, one didn't connect to the scanner, the second complained that there is a network error while I had a very good connection, easily streaming youtube video. The customer support is even worse. Got one meaningless reply after my first complain and nothing after that. The whole enterprise looks like a nasty scam aimed at gathering data and making money without any attempt to offer a real working product.
I've had my fixed unit for almost six yrs, it's in my Ford truck. Saturday 1/14 the wife and we're out for dinner, stopped for gas after dinner. After filling the tank started the car, would barely run, two different codes on dash. Had 15 miles on interstate to go. No power . Got home, I have no code reader, was thinking I need to buy one Sunday, then a light came on, why can't I take my fixed out of my truck, I did and deleted my truck. Put in the Buick encode info hit button, it found the car info within a minute, displayed the codes. Looked at my email, I had two from fixed telling me what the codes were. Sun morning pulled plugs, the plugs and coils were all corroded.. Thank you Fixed for an amazing little unit. I highly recommend this unit. It saved me a lot of money. I ordered one for her car,no need for expensive code reader.
First time I used after turning down the subscription about 7 times, it found the code P00D9 and said it was an unknown code. First, that is an incorrect code because it should be P009D and I found plenty of explanations online. Why can't these people add this simple solution to their device? I got the correct code with a 10 year old OBD2 reader. I just thought this will give me more information but it couldn't event read the code correctly.
I was really stressing about the check engine on my car been on cause is time to renew my registration. I call a couple of shops and they quote it me a crazy amount of money to get it fix. I scanned my car a 2007 Jaguar x type 3.0 V6 an it turn out all I needed is to replace the gas cap and change an oxygen sensor I bought the gas cap on Amazon an replace it myself, took it to a shop and told the mechanic all I need is to replace the oxygen sensor and he agree. The whole thing cost me les than 600.00 including parts. The shops have quoted me between 1500. To 2700. Thanks God I have this great tool ( fixed) is an amazing tool.
