We have had 9 windows done, and the front and back doors all replaced. The work was completed on time with no problems, as the installers were of the highest standards. The quality of the product has made a big difference to the value of our house, so I would personally like to thank Mike Charnell, Jordan Harris, and Jaz Powar, for their excellent installation work that they carried out in three hot days, so thank again and we are very pleased with the result
The team that provided the installation of my windows and doors were Iuian Mindru and Michael Baker. They were very polite and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them . When the installation was complete they went through the whole process of how everything worked. It was a pleasure to have them work on my property.I would also like to thank Dean Lazel for thoroughly and professionally helping me through the process.

I truly wish that I had never taken a contract with this company. Their customer service has been absolutely appalling. My messages have been ignored on a number of occasions. The work took four visits to complete. Whilst the installers work overall was good, it took three attempts to fit one window for it to open properly. When it comes to settling complaints they are not keen to pay any compensation for inconvenience and distress caused. Best avoided.
Absolutely awful company to deal with they don’t tell you things in the small print like if you cancel you have to pay 80% of your purchases as we tried to do as they double booked and couldn’t do the morning that was booked and expected us to wait around all day because they double booked again the only reason I gave 2 stars is because the door is good quality and looks good
I would stay away unless you want to waste hours of your time listening to a salesperson who tells you every career change and who he has worked for, we booked an evening appointment due to being told no more than an hour but 2.5 hours late he was still rambling on about the same thing I was told at the beginning, I only wanted a quote for a front door but yet I had sample windows being shown after numerous of times saying no he carried on. Reading more reviews now I see that this happens as a regular occurrence. After saying no to 7k they said final offer 2.6k how can that be an offer shocking, when I said no to this the salesman was super rude and didn’t like it that I as saying no,

My experience with First Home Improvements was deeply negative and warrants this warning. The entire process was full of fundamental incompetence from the start, beginning with a pushy sales consultant who designed a ground-floor window that failed basic building regulations and couldn't even be manufactured as drawn. While the survey correctly identified this error and required a change, we subsequently signed a formal Contract Variation confirming these changes with an explicit £0.00 price adjustment, keeping the agreed total. Despite this signed agreement addressing their consultant's mistake, the company inexplicably demanded approximately £388 extra days later, citing internal costing issues. This blatant disregard for a signed agreement was the second major failure. My attempts to resolve this descended into appalling customer service. The Leicester Branch Manager was unprofessional, deflected blame, failed to follow up after promising a solution, and made a shockingly offensive and discriminatory comment suggesting a "language barrier" hindered my understanding. The Regional Manager simply reiterated the unacceptable ultimatum – pay their extra charge or cancel – ignoring the signed variation. Even a follow-up call from Customer Care focused solely on disputing my factual online review and intimidating me about its removal, rather than addressing the company's poor behaviour or the managers' conduct. Ultimately, faced with their refusal to honour the agreed contract and their unprofessional handling, I was forced to cancel the order, resulting in significant wasted time and stress. From initial incompetence to offensive management, First Home Improvements demonstrated a lack of accountability and respect for customers. I strongly advise others to be careful and look elsewhere.
I was visited by Sid who was an amazing salesman who was very polite and thorough with everything, every question was answered with detail without hesitation. I would definitely recommend First Home Improvements as they have great customer service my windows were installed by Mark S and Chris C very polite lads did an amazing job Thank you
First home improvements is a total SCAM. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WITH YOUR MONEY DO A SHITY JOB AND WILL NOT RECTIFY IT. SCAM RUN AWAY
