Brilliant Customer Service.

We have just had the best customer service ever off Val at Extra gas Eccles. We assumed that they supplied Flo gas and went down with our empty bottle. They didn`t do Flo gas, but Val was really helpful she immediately started looking for the nearest supplier and gave us the address. She was so friendly and gave us such good information that after we put the empty bottle back in the car we both said lets just use Extra Gas Instead. She had given us confidence in the company. As a business owners we look for that extra effort, care and attention. Thank you very much Val, Brilliant Service would recommend to all our Family, Friends and Customers

Tried to give them a chance but they don't seem to want the business as they made it difficult to place an order. Very poor service for a company that claims 30+ years of service. Back to Cheshire Gas then!

Brilliant company

Where to start …… firstly if you are searching for who to commit the next two years of your life to and trust to deliver your gas in a timely manner, please first of all read my (and others) review of Avanti Gas before you commit to them. Thankfully after two years of stress and panic the control was back in my hands. Local fb page recommended Extra Gas and thank goodness they did, it was a company I hadn’t heard of before and didn’t come up on the search for companies that supply our area. A simple request brought back prices that were at least 10ppl cheaper than other companies and after a very easy process we were signed up. Of course the proof is in the pudding , first gas delivery request ….. goodness me it was delivered within a week. No anxious staring at the gas dial wondering whether we will make it, it was delivered - simple as that. Wait, it gets even better. Three months later we have had a tank clean which I can say hand on heart in the 30+ years of it being here, it has never been cleaned by a company. Also, the clean highlighted the need for a repaint and replacement of the lid, something we have been asking for over many years. Last week this was done so we now have a shiny clean tank with a lid that actually works. When leaving Avanti Gas I quoted their price was going to cost at least £200 a year extra and they had the cheek so say that it’s because you pay a premium for a reputable company. My advise is if you want to save money and also commit to a company that treats its customers as living, human being with courtesy then try Extra Gas.

I would definately recommend if you are looking for a company that actually has great people a phone call away.

It's rare and a relief to encounter someone so professional, understanding and who actually goes out of their way to really listen and ensure exceptional service delivery. Today my query was dealt with in way that was all of that by Sarah Laidlaw, for which I am grateful. Can not fault the service provided. Thank you Sarah.

No Gas, Tank Empty

I don't very often write a review but I needed to do one for Tracey Tyer who helped me out at Extra Gas in Trafford Park Manchester. Unfortunately I ran out of Gas on the evening of 1st April, on Tuesday 2nd April at 8am I rang extra gas at Trafford Park Manchester and spoke to Tracey who was extremely helpful with my difficult situation not having any heating or able to use my gas cooker, Tracey advised me to send her a copy of the metre which showed empty and she would do what she could to rectify my dilemma. Due to her excellent service Tracey managed to arrange a delivery for me on the 4th April, a couple of days later which saved me over £300 for an emergency delivery it would have Cost me. Please please pass on my thanks to Tracey for the excellent service she gave me, due the excellent service Tracey gave me I will have no hesitation in recommending Extra Gas to family and friends. A Gold star🌟 for Tracey .

we recently ran out of gas, we have a contract, lead times are a little long hence us running short - however, Extragas sent someone out on Saturday morning and got us back up and running - this is customer service and the reason I have given 5 stars

We have been without gas for 6 days…

We have been without gas for 6 days now. Ordered on 27th Feb, now 25th March. Spoke to them and they said current waiting time is 21 days ‘til delivery - be warned, they don’t mean 3 weeks, which is what most people would assume, when I phoned to chase they said that it means 21 working days (which is 4 weeks and one day! Really?!). Despite explaining that my mum has returned from hospital with cancer and was staying with us for respite, there was nothing they could/would do. Very very poor! My only wonder is if the business is about to go under. We are one year into a contract, and we all know how difficult it is to get out of one of those! I wait with baited breath…

Not happy with these guys as they keep…

Not happy with these guys as they keep changing the goal posts as to when we can fill our tank up. First it's at 40% then 15% and now 5% !!!! They aren't even in control of the deliveries but a third party suppler whom they can't call and have to contact via email. Their own customer service team have said 5% may last a week, so what if they don't get the emails what happens if we run out ??? Who pays for any damages caused by an empty system ??? What about the stress caused by worried customers who are thinking they now have to be careful with the gas or the worry of running out ??? Will be leaving as a customer as soon as my contract ends 😡😡😡

Always there when needed providing great service

We moved in to our property just 9 days before Christmas in 2018 and our LPG tank was left at just 11% full. I called round a lot of suppliers and ExtraGas were the only ones who said they would get us a delivery in for Christmas. They did as promised and for the next 4 years supplied a flawless service. Easy to contact and really professional drivers. Great company!

Brilliant customer service and speedy delivery

I’d just like to thank everyone involved at extragas when we hadn’t checked the level of our gas and when we did it was less than 5%…an emergency call made to extragas and explained clearly by staff it could take10/ 14 days but they would do their best…lovely lady and very helpful. A lovely gentleman phoned and left a message to say our delivery was the next day,this was exactly a week after the call…this has happened once before and again they delivered within two days. On a personal note a lovely lady ( you know who you are !) was so caring and checked on me when I was going through my treatment for breast cancer ensuring I had enough gas as my treatment was through the winter months…I’ve been with extragas for many years and always had excellent 5* service…keep up the great work and we promise we will check often, it’s now on the calendar !! Quick to sign you up but really poor…

Quick to sign you up but really poor customer service. Unhelpful on phone & email. Takes months to actually switch. They have no ability or care to prioritise deliveries. Failed to install telemetry. Only care about their individual SLAs. We were left without gas for 11 days when we originally switched to them a year ago. Failed to deliver on time again and we are already 4 days no heating and no sign of a delivery. They avoid your calls and emails. Really rude too. Extra Gas staff should spend more time communicating with their customers directly rather than concentrating on online reviews. Think you should check your dates again. I’m at a loss what they find rude about a customer asking when their delivery will be / when they get zero response…. Go back and check your call recordings. You are mistaking frustration for rudeness. Your reply reinforces my feedback that you are only concerned with your individual SLAs and are unable to prioritise deliveries. The AVANTI delivery driver has shown more concern than Extra Gas. And here we have it folks - still waiting for the promised call back from Friday and no reply to email from hours ago asking again when the delivery will be. Yet have time to reply to online reviews. I have tried to contact you further - but no reply. You should try not showing your frustration when you are living in a freezing cold house with vulnerable children and not getting any response to your communications.
