Overall good service
Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

Very happy with the service I received from Enact. This is the second time I have used their remortgaging services. Both times they have completed the process on my requested date. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Enact made my whole remortgage experience so easy, they were always on hand if I had any issues I needed answering. Always very quick to respond to any messages I left via their messaging service. I had absolutely no issues with the team whatsoever, I would certainly recommend them for your conveyance requirements.

I took the free legal service option with a Nationwide mortgage product, worst thing I’ve ever done as Enact were the company they used for this. We had 6 weeks to get everything through before our fixed rate ended and we went onto the variable rate which was an extra £500 per month on top of our current payment. Enact flagged up that we had a restriction at the land registry, which was part of a declaration of trust between my partner and I. 8 weeks later we still hadn’t completed and despite taking legal advice elsewhere and producing the necessary certificate to cover the restriction Enact wouldn’t accept it nor say why! Avoid at all costs and take the cash back option & instruct your own solicitor to avoid having to deal with a company like this. We pulled out of the remortgage in the end as there was no way to get past them. Sadly we’re £500 a month and the extra legal fees worse off. Luckily found a decent company to do the remortgage for us now with another lender.
