I have had a really good experience with DLG Legal Services. Always prompt with their communication and well informed. Dealt with a few people within the team and they have all been great. Recently Graham Dent dealt with the case and he was also very good and professional.

DLG legal services

after reading these reviews i can confirm they are all true. After being in a non fault accident my insurance company Churchill recommended these clowns. Now after a year and a half and numerous different claim advisers i cannot see an end to it. absolute waste of space these people are Update still waiting for claim price keeps dropping due to new guideance they have found and feel that an adjustment is necessary ie £425 less just over 2 years now also a new claims handler now who is on £315 per hour how the hell can churchill recommend these people

I wish I could rate them lower than 1 star

Companies like this make you wish that there was a rating lower than 1 star. My injury claim has been going on for almost 2 years now and there is never any correspondence from them. Today I called to get an update on my claim and I was told that the forms that I was sent to sign which I returned had been signed incorrectly so there hasn't been any progress at all. If that was the case you would think that they would get back to you to sign the documents again but no there was no email/call from them. Had I not called to get an update I wouldn't have found out that there has been absolutely no progress since I sent them the documents. Disappointed in their services to say the least

Do not trust this company with your…

AVOID DLG LEGAL SERVICES AT ALL COSTS Absolutely appalling company. Myself and son were involved in a RTA. Our vehicle was stationary and we were hit in the rear by a Hermes Box Van. Both myself and Son (who is non-verbal Autistic) suffered whiplash and my car was written off. DLG Legal failed to start a claim for my son for 6 months leading to a formal complaint and have just royally screwed me over by accepting a settlement less than 40% of the claim value. Avoid at all costs if you want fair and competent representation. Fuming does not begin to cover it. They got the minimum amount for the injuries and ZERO for my losses.

Wouldn't even bother, such a poor company who don't care!

Wouldn't even bother! This is an old review, however it's needed. Went to them after an insured driver hit me and drove off, claim got denied by MIB and they refused to do anything to help. 5 years later, after moving to a different legal service, my claim got approved and I was paid out 5 figures from MIB. Their loss on a good commission here, but shows that other companies clearly work harder!

Caused more damage by refusing to write…

Caused more damage by refusing to write letter to 3rd party as advised by police in order to settle manufactured ie made up boundary dispute. Wanted to send surveyors from 300 miles way then did not even book them. Hunt group phone number goes to callcentres all over WORLD - who deny existence of your solicitor, slam down phone, & rude. Not able to send documents by fileshare & they lost papers or shred them. Direct Line all part of the same company do NOT use.

Avoid at all costs

After an accident, my car insurance claim was referred to them to handle the personal injury side of things. It was a very straightforward case where the other side had already admitted responsibility and medical evidence had been gathered. However, it took them 3 and a half years to resolve everything! To be fair, this was partly due to covid restrictions and the resulting backlog of court cases, but most of the time they didn't seem to do anything unless I contstantly chased them and months would go by without any updates. Evidence was lost and I seemed to have a new case handler every time I called. Worst was how slow they were to release the final payment after they notified me that it had been received from the other side - 4 months of constant chasing for my own money!

2 months they’ve had my medical report…

2 months they’ve had my medical report and still waiting for them to review. You don’t hear anything from them unless you phone them for updates. This whole experience is becoming ridiculous. They will sit on it unless you escalate.

Zero communication enroute to money for old rope.

DLG legal services spent four years "processing" my personal injury claim, for when a third party pulled out in front of my vehicle. Whilst on my 3rd different "legal officer" (client liaison numpty) I finally got fed up enough to request a copy of their complaints process. Funnily enough, 3 days later, I got asked to send a copy of my bank statement through to the settlement department so they could process payment of the sum I'd accepted. I'm still waiting for the money a week later and am not holding my breath it will be here any earlier than the stipulated 45 day wait time. This company is absolutely dreadful and I would advise anyone requiring timely or efficient legal services to avoid them like the plague.

Terrible customer service!!!

Terrible customer service!!! I had an accident back in 2017. The case got handed over to DLG in 2020, I left them a few months (due to COVID) but after that I was constantly chasing up the case and pushing them to do their job. They never updated me with anything that happened and I had to ring every few months to find information. In August 2021 I rang and they had put the case on hold without telling me. I complained and said they never updated me and they said they would send me a list of everything that has happened over the time of the case, I never received this. In February 2022 I received a letter telling me the case had closed with no explanation as to why. My case handler changed at least 3 times throughout the time so noone really knew what was happening with my case, whenever I asked questions they could never explain why things were happening and what it meant for me.

Unprofessional and careless service

Dealing with DLG has been an awful experience and I would never recommend them. After being in a serious car accident that wasn’t my fault DLG were the option given to me to deal with the insurance claim. The whole experience has been so upsetting and changed my life as almost a year later I am still in immense pain. The service from claims handlers has been careless, slow and frustrating. I began my claim with someone who was clearly very inexperienced, would never reply to my emails even after numerous phone calls and was rude over the phone. I would send emails and it would be weeks until I got a reply that wouldn’t answer my questions. I then sent more important documents to my handler to then be emailed a month later saying she no longer worked for DLG. More emails and weeks later I am given a new case handler who also has the same level of respect as the previous - calling me the wrong name repeatedly even though I’ve corrected her! I have asked for numerous updates and emails have not been replied to for 3 weeks now. Even a complaint email has been ignored. I can’t phone them due to offices being closed but staff are supposed to be working from home so why haven’t my emails been replied to. I need further medical attention and have been suffering! I have followed the advice from DLG to wait until the recovery period suggested by the medical exam and now I’ve been left to suffer. The service has been appalling and I would never use them again! All I ask is for replies to my emails to help the situation or even update clients with the progress monthly so they know the situation and what is happening.
