I have had a really good experience with DLG Legal Services. Always prompt with their communication and well informed. Dealt with a few people within the team and they have all been great. Recently Graham Dent dealt with the case and he was also very good and professional.

Please don't go with them! After one year of battling my claims agent after they screwed me over on many occasions, I am still deciding whether to report them to SRA for their treatment of my case and me. The people I dealt with I was told to remove their names Good luck to anyone that has a case with them. I wish you the best.

I have to agree with others on this subject . Case handlers need to be more communicative with their clients . I am coming up to 4 years after I got hit up the rear in my car . Daughter got neck injury ( whiplash ) and took 2 years for her to get her compensation . As for mine well been a nightmare from the start . Case handler was dare I say incompetent in her job . Then it got changed and second was OK but still no communication .. I had to keep ringing for updates . I finally got a lovely lady , Janet blakeley who is a breath of fresh air . She got things moving for me but was a slow process. 🐌 . Now after 4 years nearly I have accepted an out of court settlement but after 6 weeks of accepting it , I have had no communication from the settlement team at all . Janet has emailed them but still have heard nothing . Sorry but I have to agree with everyone else . If you want things settled then avoid dlg legals services . Thanks Janet blakeley though who deserves a medal 🏅 for putting up with my nagging .

Would give negative stars if possible. Personaly Injury - Son injured by negligent adults racing RC4 cars in a public park. Causing multiple injuries and damage to personal property. 11 months later and after 3 case handlers I get told the defendent doesn't have the resources to pay. But why did it take them over 10 months to do a financial background check when I even sent evidence the defendent was selling his possessions? Do not use any Direct Line Group of companies again as they are happy taking your premium but fail to look after their customers.

It took 6 years to get our claim to court. On the day we are told by the barrister that the file they and the Court received from DLG was missing basic evidence and in all likelihood our claim would fail because of it. Exactly that happened. Basic documentation we had supplied had been left out and other documents any competent solicitor would know to ask for had never been sought. 6 years of unanswered emails & calls. Constant chasing only to find out their incompetence meant we would never succeed. The other party must still be laughing.

Abysmal service. Myself and my son had a claim with them. They told me mine was settled several weeks ago. Since then I have not received my payment nor have I had any contact from the despite dozens of emails being sent. I have now had to instruct my own personal solicitor to chase them as I feel they are no longer acting in my best interest and illegally withholding my settlement. My son has complex medical needs which their team seem unable to process in respect to his claim. Avoid using this company at all costs

This firm mishandled my claim from the start and harmed my chances in court. They are a discriminatory firm. They appointed me a representative and together they destroyed my chances of being physically able to accurately detail the parameters of my claim, helped the perpetrator of abuse to multiple victims by putting me in a position whereby i cant speak to a doctor, put me and others in physical harm way, sent me to inappropriate professionals, provided no information which would help me navigate my claim, reinforced my need to hide information by telling me that everything I'm feeling is natural, drove me crazy by then telling me all the advice they can give is to go to the doctor, to my suicide attempt and more unfortunately. Worst experience of my life. I've complained and been very sincere but they chose to ignore and avoid me. I've never felt to vulnerable and DGL made all matters worst. Are not offering a resolution. I've made multiple attempts to communicate so that lessons can be learned but they are adopting the strongest possible legal stance against me in order to get rid of me and make it more difficult/costly for me. Keep well away. Will be writing a weekly review till a fair resolution for all interested parties is reached. They are making me face a case which is more expensive to investigate compared to my compensation I can hope for. Happy to proceed with all my might. They have been insincere when apologizing to me saying "I'm not trying to get rid of you" and assured me id recieve an email to say I spoke to someone. Never came in stead they asked a receptionist to decline my calls. What a crock. Disgusting firm. Weekly reviews will all be providing details of my claim including dates and events. National embarrassment for all is the only avenue DLG have left open to me. Our worlds are heading for another collision no matter how difficult they try to make it for me. No helpful reply or investigation expected from these people may provide an empty and insincere link to complaints which will be ignored again. They are disgusting. Recommend staying away

I can confirm they have been allocated my case from Darwin Insurance and they are ignoring what I am telling them. In addition they are coming to me for information they should be obtaining from Darwin. There is CCTV evidence with Darwin for our accident that shows it was 100% not our fault. DLG ignored 2 phone calls that this key critical evidence was there. My understanding was that they were doing a court letter that did not include this evidence despite me telling them it was there.
