The best day of my life that I…

The best day of my life that I discovered Church's shoes. Last year went to the London shop at Jermyn street. They provided great service to deliver the shoes at my hotel. The shoes have a perfect fit from the moment I put them on. Went on that day visiting two museums and never took the shoes off. Yes expensive but worth all the money because they are ready to wear because of the fine leather. This year I am ordering again a pair of Oxfords (Consul). Size 8.5 last G. Can't wait untill they arrive through the Brussels store. Church's thanks you ever so much. Mr. Bout - Netherlands

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for personal service I had the pleasure of being helped by Idjana at Church’s on Jermyn Street, London, and I can’t speak highly enough of her. What began as a frustrating experience with the main customer service interaction quickly turned into one of the best examples of customer service I’ve ever encountered—thanks entirely to her. Idjana went above and beyond to not only attempt to resolve the issue I was facing but did so with genuine care, professionalism, and attention to detail. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to making sure a customer leaves happy, and that’s exactly what she did. Her empathy, product knowledge, and proactive approach transformed my day. This kind of service is what builds lasting customer loyalty, and Idjana is a true credit to the Church’s brand. Thank you!

DiSAPPOINTING UNHELPFUL SERVICE

Relatively brand new pair Church Grafton , lace broke , opened a new spare and lace snapped when tightening shoe . Complained to Church’s Whatapp with pictures and an anonymous respondeehas put me through the hoops with records and numerous angle pictures of a broken lace on a 1k pair of shoes . Ridiculous attitude and nothing compared to the historical high service that Church’s offered pre their sale. Couldn’t bring myself to buy again and they seriously should invest in proper customer relations staff , not acceptable .

PRADA has scattered the brand

PRADA has scattered the brand. Rubber soles with fake seams. -Church was a brand that stood for quality. I pay for quality not for the brand. So now I have to look further for the real thing.

Great customer service despite the retailer Mr Porter ltd

Despite the retailer Mr Porter Ltd refusing to repair my Church's shoes saying that the time elapsed since the shoes were purchased was outside of their policy and refusing to accept the responsibility to repair them despite the shoes only being worn 30 times, Church's Shoes took them back and repaired them free of charge no questions asked. Brilliant thank you.

Used to be a reliable shoe retailer but…

Used to be a reliable shoe retailer but the quality is just not the same anymore and the customer service is very patchy. Got too big for its shoes? I still like my Church's but it has to be acknowledged that better value can be had elsewhere at this point.

Scam

See ad. On Facebook church shoes see trainers £35 2 weeks delivery so paid, straight away got a email delivery may take longer and a tracking link. Week later shoe were in Singapore ! Looked at my bank see the £35 was in dollars $ and a change for paying in foreign currency exchange fee. 3 months not received shoes. Just had a email from church shoes advising with a contact number. I have them my number for the reply said there number should begin with different letters! I attached a copy of the successful purchase, they have not got back to me. This is a scam by just taking your money or sending you terrible quality useless shoes you can't return. !!!

Poor quality shoes and very disappointing after sales service

Poor quality shoes and very disappointing after sales service. After only one season of occasional usage the soles of my Alexandra boots got a very significant wear and tear and the zipper of one shoe broke as well. Unacceptable for this price tag shoes. The after sales service made the experience even worse by ignoring my complaint and not offering any solution.

Awful company

Awful company. Driven by greed. Put prices up by 50% overnight without improving quality (which is very poor to say the least). Much much better shoes at a fraction of the price from Cheaney or C and J. For God's sake they are 50% more expensive than Edward Green. Church are going bust and it cannot happen soon enough.

I have 5 pairs of Church shoes and have…

I have 5 pairs of Church shoes and have been delighted by 4 of them but they have all been without problems. My pair of brogues which have been faulty (to the point where the sole fell off today when out with them) have been shocking - I contacted Church to sort a repair 2 months ago but they didn’t get back to me. I couldn’t be more disappointed at the after sales service! I am planning on buying some new brogues but I think I’ll be going to Cheaney’s going forward. Even my Oliver Sweeney shoes have been better. It is such a shame as my suede loafers and my dress and work shoes have been great - but I haven’t had problems with them - if you do Church are genuinely appalling.

Unfortunate purchase

Unfortunately, Church’s shoes purchased from Iconic A few years ago, I bought a pair of Church’s Burwood Brogue shoes from Australian online retailer the ICONIC. This is in fact a pair of expensive shoes and I have kept them in mint condition. I recently read an online article and learned Asymmetry in shoes is a Common Quality Defect. And I thought of my Church’s Burwood Brogue almost immediately. On the right shoe, the seam of the rear quarter is not centred, but off to the right. I contacted Church’s straight away. Amazingly, they quickly responded to my message. At that time, I honestly thought Church’s was going to look after their consumer. After a few emails back and forth, it turned south before long. Church’s shoemaker advised me to contact ICONIC (the Australian retailer) as it is Church’s policy and procedure before the faulty shoe can be sent to Church’s repair centre. So, I emailed ICONIC. Yes, the rest of the story has followed the classic plot. Long story short: Whilst Church’s shoemaker claims the retailer ICONIC is liable for checking defects before selling, ICONIC believes their customers should cop it if they fail to check the quality of their purchase on delivery. I have expressed to both Church’s and ICONIC that I don’t appreciate being led in running circles with no genuine intention to solve the problem. And there are simply so many other good options in the market especially at high price bracket, end of story.
