Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

After a pretty traumatic divorce I decided that it was my time to do what i had always wanted to do, counselling. With 2 children and working full time, it was hard to find a course that fitted around that. Then I heard an advert for chrysalis on the radio. It seemed perfect. Although i was not as keep to do the hypnotherapy year, by the end I was hooked and i now do it along side counselling at my own practice. Chrysalis has been amazing with their support whilst i was a student and after. I am so happy I did it, and now I am living my dream.

I took time to research for 3 year counselling courses and found a lot of choice, similar to the Advanced Diploma that Chrysalis was offering. However the cost differed and in some places charging up to £7k per year. The total course fees for the Chrysalis 3 year course doesn't even come close to that amount. I found the course extremely interesting and the tutors don't blind you with fancy counselling language, making the learning comprehensive. It's not all essay writing, there are practical exercises too which help shape your practical skills. For me, a thoroughly enjoyable course and an investment worth making.

Brilliant tutor who had years of experience as a hypnotherapist. The course materials were extremely well written and easy to follow. Lovely location and facilities. Chrysalis staff were always very friendly and helpful. I found the whole experience life changing and learnt so much about myself. Each module was interesting and taught me so much about hypnotherapeutic techniques. I just wish there was an advanced hypnotherapy course available! Well worth every penny and I would highly recommend.

As soon as i started the course I was addicted to the content of the modules. I committed to 3yrs of study and I wish there was more. Out of the original 30 people who started there was only 5 left at the end who completed their advanced diploma. I could go on and on as each module had its own dynamics. The course tutors were well experienced and their delivery was 10/10.

I really enjoyed the course, I found the tutors and chrysalis excellent and my questions always got answered. Taught me a lot about myself as well as facilitating others. Flexible around my previous job while I studied also met some great like minded people. Really enjoyed the hypnotherapy as initially I was a little synical as I wanted to be a counsellor, on reflection so glad this was incorporated in the training as its a great tool to complement the counselling. I have recently completed my first year learning hypnotherapy with Chrysalis. I have received hypnotherapy for stress a couple of years earlier. And although, I started this 3 year course to become a counsellor I had never even considered being a hypnotherapist. But now having completed my first year I feel aspired, motivated and excited about the new opportunities in my life. I intend to use these new skills to help and improve peoples lives, just as it has mine. It opens your eyes is so many ways. It has made be a better, calmer and happier person. And I have direction and purpose for all the right reasons. The course itself is delivered at a pace that fitted in with my family and my full-time job. It was never a chore to go to college. In fact it was MY DAY, where I learnt about something I was really interested in, with lovely, kind, caring people and was very privileged to have an excellent tutor who has great experience and knowledge of the subject. I recommend this course, for the experience, the qualification gained and the prospect of starting a new buisness.

I started studying with Chrysalis a couple of months ago. It is a fabulous course, very informative and the tutor couldn't be more helpful. The information is given in a way that makes it easy to learn. My only criticism is that I wish the course was shorter as I'm keen to start my career now.
