Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

I would thoroughly recommend Chrysalis for anyone looking to start a career in counselling, or deepen their understanding of the counselling process as a way to enhance their skills. The tutors and office staff are very knowledgable, supportive and helpful. Assignments were challenging and gaining practice hours can be difficult but the effort required is definitely worth it.

My tutor was great and the course was just what I needed but would have appreciated the time table to have more person development group time with my peers. Communication from then office was not always clear and up to date.

I have been reluctant to leave a review as my experience with Chrysalis hasn’t been positive. The first two years of tutoring were of low standard and having been to classes in other areas of the country, it is evident that your experience will be dependent on the tutor. The quality of tutor varies widely. I’ve had nothing but barriers put in my way by the organisation with regards to placements. Chrysalis sells itself as a provider who can support your studies alongside full time working which has not been my experience. They say you get what you pay for. Chrysalis was the cheapest provider when I joined the course and the course absolutely reflects this. I am still considering moving to a different provider even though I am only months away from completion. I would not continue my studies with chrysalis and if I had my time again I would choose a different provider.

I have just completed the first year Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Introduction to Counselling Skills. I have found the course to be well structured, with excellent support from the tutor, providing me with a solid foundation of practical skills in both counselling and hypnosis. The personal development this has given me has without doubt changed my life for the better. I feel well prepared and inspired to continue my journey into year two!

Chrysalis courses have been a life changing experience. I have recently completed my studies and had a wonderful learning experience. My tutor was fantastic, she was inspiring and so knowledgeable that it was enjoyable to attend every lecture. I feel that by completing my degree with Chrysalis it has completed me, I am now who I am supposed to be. I also want to add that the support of South student support team, especially the support I received from Tania Redmile, has been exceptional. I highly recommend studying with Chrysalis counselling courses. Thank you to all at Chrysalis.
