Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

Absolutely loved my journey with Chrysalis. Quite surprised at some of the negative comments made regarding their training when I first started, and therefore I have to say that has not been my experience in any way at all. Our tutor BH has been outstanding, and I have benefited immensely in the training both professionally and personally. I am also very grateful to the support received from the team at student support. Especially Tanya! Always a pleasure to speak to and so helpful with anything I have needed support with. Would highly recommend Chrysalis and am now able to take my skills forward so am very grateful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Providing our own course printouts to attend university settings where we can’t use the facilities is ridiculous. The print outs are literally repeated word for word in class so could be home study led. There’s no practical assessments in our finals to prove our capabilities as students. For such an expensive course the student support is awful.

There have been times where the information shared is not always accurate - for example, a recent email advised that the Readiness to Practice letters were to be requested by the provider of your placement but then when I emailed placements directly they issued the letter directly to me (after me telling the provider they needed to email and then being surprised by that as other students had provided them).

It is a course which is flexible. You are required to attend 1 ftf class per month with lots of self directed learning, essays etc to produce per month. Some of the tuors were better that others. There is good online class notes and videos.
