Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

Very accessible course due to the number of locations and good coverage of the theories and subjects important for qualification. The course does not meet the minimum number of contact hours for full registration but they offer a further year with more in-depth training of important wider issues which is valuable. You have to be very disciplined and self-motivated because there is a lot to learn outside the classroom hours, and able to do this sort of distance learning as well as in-person commitments. If you are not happy with the tutor you can switch easily to another location which is good - class sizes and tutor quality can vary but you can get excellent tutors and the course is half the cost of elsewhere. Personal therapy is optional but strongly encouraged and will probably be necessary to secure a placement. Like many providers, their internal dashboard for materials etc is chaotic and has much room for improvement but the content is all there and the official support services are friendly and helpful although you may have to wait a day or two, but the whatsapp groups of fellow students your course inevitably has are good for emergency help.

The support that I have had from the south team in particular Tania has been amazing you couldnt ask for a better support.team They have been quick to response back to queries both by phone or email always willing to look into your questions ioffer support and reassurance and if they don't know the answer which is not very often they do their utmost to get the answer for you and get back to you..ASAP. They have made this year a lot more stress free Tania in particular, is empathetic understanding and very reassuring. And always willing to support you making sure that you understand what is required regarding uploading and queries.etc. So far all the above has made it a great experience from the adim support liaison side fantastic support.! No problem to big and always with a cheery positive voice. So a very big Thank You. Tania

EXCELLENT !! I have just finished my first year. I have two more years to go but I really wanted to mention that completing this year has been an excellent and smooth experience. My Tutor Karl has been extremely supportive and attentive if there were any issues. If there was anything I didn't understand I would email Karl my tutor and I would get a response quite quickly. And Chrysalis has a techinical support team who have always picked up my phone calls and they sorted any issues out - literally within minutes!! Amazing people!!! Amazing Tutor Karl !! And incredible service !! And the whole team are extremely pleasent !! Thank you to KARL who has been a great support and Thank you to Technical team who has always always picked up my calls!! This was my first CPD course since receiving my Certificate of Hypnotherapist this summer. I am currently in my second year of studying "Counseling Skills and Theory." I realised how much I miss hypnotherapy and felt a bit out of practice, as I haven't worked with it since completing my SSP. I chose this course not only because the timing was convenient, but also because I have some family cases involving panic attacks. The course was incredibly beneficial for me as it allowed me to reconnect with hypnotherapy. The content was well-organised and relevant, providing me with the practical skills I needed to feel confident in applying hypnotherapy techniques again. Our tutor was not only knowledgeable but also approachable, creating a supportive learning environment. The insights and experiences shared by my classmates were invaluable. They were more experienced and generously offered practical advice and encouragement, which greatly enhanced my learning experience. Additionally, the timing of the course was perfect given my current studies and the family cases I am handling. It offered me exactly what I needed to bridge the gap in my practice and to support those dealing with panic attacks. Overall, I feel more confident and excited about integrating hypnotherapy back into my professional practice. I will sign for more CPD course in the future.
