It was very easy to use Centauro, which I and my familiy has done for more than 15 years. During the last two years the service has overall developed and the price for full cover insurance.

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.
una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.
Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

Oltre al fatto che non in modo visibile e chiaro non c'è scritto che le macchine non possono andare nelle isole e va beh, a differenza del collega uomo che professionalmente ha risposto ci ha seguito una ragazza con i capelli marroni, con gli occhiali,che nonostante io gli abbia detto che non ero arrabbiata con lei è non mi sono permessa di insultarla lei mi ha intimidito dicendo " No perché se mi girano i coglio**" Oltre al fatto che al pagamento della Carta dove ho detto che l'avrei lasciata in garage a bologna(perché pagata) lei mi ha guardata con quel fare arrogante e mi ha detto "tanto poi se le blocco 1200 euro non può prendere un altra macchina( facendosi i conti delle mie tasche come se lei sapesse) e apprescindere non la consegno" Ora, vorrei sottolineare che questo sarebbe un personale cordiale? Mi ha intimorito con "ci sono i GPS tanto" E quando gli ho detto che poteva controllare non ha voluto! Io ho pagato per un servìzio che non mi hanno dato!
Hele boeking proces was goed. Ophalen om de luchthaven snel en effectief. Echter de tank voor maar 10% gevuld. Irritant want was al 22.00 in de avond en dus eerst tanken. Bij inleveren bleek dit pas te kunnen vanaf 7.00 en geen enkele mogelijkheid om de auto eerder in te leveren. Medewerkers onvriendelijk en hebben op geen enkele manier meegewerkt om proces snel te laten gaan. Vervolgens 2 maanden later nog steeds niet de borg terug ondanks meerdere malen schrijven (geen enkele reactie). Ik huur minimaal 3 per jaar een auto en heb echt nog nooit zo’n slechte ervaring gehad. Ik huur echt nooit meer wat bij dit bedrijf.
i have used these lots of time but this is the final time never again , I rented a car from them a month ago and they still haven't returned my pre payment or fuel deposit, over £2000, i didt take their rip off insurance as i already have it ,i have a video of the car when i returned it with no damage caused by us, i called them and they said wait 12 days still nothing so made complaint made still no reply ,called again they said wait again , its over a month now , i went to Mastercard they will get my money back , Disgusting service , very difficult to contact , thought these were good at one time now a bunch of scam artists
übelste Abzocke !!! Mietwagen im Mai 2025 in Alicante abgeholt. Für die Kaution wurde die Debitkarte ( VISA ) nicht akzeptiert. Der Mitarbeiter am Schalter sagte, sie können auch eine Überweisung von 162€ als Kaution tätigen. Diese werden nach Rückgabe des Autos zurück überwiesen. Der Vertrag war natürlich in spanisch, so dass ich nicht wußte, das ich eine zusätzliche Versicherung abschloss. Ich hatte den Wagen mit Vollkasko schon bezahlt gehabt. Nach Rückfrage bei centauro erfuhr ich von dieser fiesen Masche. Nie wieder !!

It was all going so well until they were to release the last 100 euro. Told me that would happen 23rd June and despite 3/4 emails they just stop responding. Things had been going well up to this point re the Porto airport branch. Had another reservation with them in september which I’ve now cancelled and won’t now ever use again. Have contacted my credit card company and initiated a chargeback
very fast contact with customer service they explained everything, and I appreciate the high and fast service, by rental they explained everything I needed.i booked then cancelled, the money was return fast same day. I can recommend this company, and key ready box is a excelent service
Centauro offers the cheapest rates online to lure you in, then hits you with aggressive upselling at pickup that can triple your costs. I booked them because they advertised as the cheapest option in Crete. At pickup, staff scared me into buying additional insurance that cost more than the rental itself. They claimed I'd be liable for €350 for "a single scratch" and made me feel like I had no choice. After researching, this isn't isolated. Multiple customers report identical tactics: Advertised rates of €15/day becoming €400+ after "mandatory" extras Staff claiming third-party insurance "doesn't work in Greece" (false) Aggressive pressure tactics and intimidation Fabricated damage charges upon return BOTTOM LINE: Their "cheap" rates are fake. You'll pay more than competitors after forced upsells, with worse service and questionable practices. Save yourself the stress and choose literally anyone else.
