Buyers beware On collection the car wasn't as described. The car needs a full respray. Pics of the car were taken and sent to car & classic. Nothing has been done. This is now in the hands of my solicitors. Stay clear

Car and Classic is the much better choice for your classic

Relatively painless from the start to completion. I originally started with a rival company, Collecting Cars, because they do not charge a sellers fee, but they pulled the plug after posting, without any notice, after I incurred a whole lot of costs to satisfy their requirements. Other classic cars advertised at the same time by Collecting Cars have also suddenly disappeared from their site. So I am sure this was not unique to me. So I switched to Car and Classic - a much better decision, except for the sellers' fee which eats away from the proceeds of the sale. If Car and Classic were charging a buyers' fee as Collecting Cars do then this would put Collecting Cars out of business. Please consider Car and Classic and you would take over the market.

Easy process and good value .. saving you a lot of hassle.

Easy to understand and well put together package making the process of auctioning your car a relatively pain free access. You don't have to place any ads, write any descriptions, take photos (bad usually). Car & Classic, send a professional photographer to take the best photos possible of your car (have it valeted beforehand), have one of their team write a brilliant honest description to appeal to enthusiasts. No tyre kickers just bidders and highest bidder wins. Very good experience and would do again.

Great way to sell your classic car

Great way to sell your classic car, easy set up, quick arrangement for the photo shoot and good write up for the website advertisement, ( can be a little bit fast moving seeming like a bit push) but auction surpassed our expectations and was kept informed and everything was explained leading to a quick happy sale for us and an easy buying experience for the buyer
