Buyers beware On collection the car wasn't as described. The car needs a full respray. Pics of the car were taken and sent to car & classic. Nothing has been done. This is now in the hands of my solicitors. Stay clear

FALSE DESCRIPTIONS Car & Classic are auctioning off scrap…
Car & Classic are auctioning off scrap cars without saying so. Cars with engine issues and failures and creating very loose description creating a false sense around what you are buying. If you try to discuss this post auction before paying the seller C&c will dismiss you and keep all your money. The team at C&C are clueless and just greedy.

Beware the cost of selling your classic.
A better way to sell your classic if you don't want to deal with the clowns that populate the more regular selling sites. I did receive the attentions of a scammer but ignored him and reported him to Car & Classic but never got a response. I did get an honest buyer in the end. My main gripe about Car & Classic is the 'small fee' they charge for handling my sale. £216 for a £4500 car isn't a small fee in my book.

Good communication and advice. Chap who came to do the pictures and text was knowledgeable and created a fair example of the car - in my case, someone buying from a distance without a viewing. Bit spendy but overall a good experience and the new owner is delighted with his acquisition.
