We purchased a Provence Flueless Gas Stove through Calors own website. Decided on this as it looked like a nice looking & well designed item and sounded quite economical to run over the winter months. We also considered a log/multi fuel heater as we have a spare unused chimney & fireplace in our lounge but the costs of purchase & installation put them out of our budget. The Provence heater is just excellent!! Easy to use, puts out loads of heat even on the 1st (lower) setting and as a bonus will heat our lounge AND our new 'Orangrie'. Last winter it was freezing in there and the electric underfloor heating we had fitted runs away with electricity π. This winter with our Provence, we're using our Orangrie all the time! A big bonus of the heater is it sits on 4 rubber wheeled castors, 2 of which will swivel so you can move it easily wherever you want. Should add we have wood floors, on carpet it would take a fair bit more effort as the heater is no lightweight esp' with a 15kg gas cylinder on board. Overall, for us, it's just the job, we're delighted with it. Thank you Calor & Universal Innovations on a great product.

I detected a leak from my gas bottle, I phoned the emergency line and was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Mr Westlake the engineer, phoned within the hour and was with me shortly after. He dealt with the problem and tweaked the gas flow, he was also a very nice man. All in all a top class service.

Easy to order delivered on time

Repeated phone calls from Calor and difficulty arranging an appointment to check out gas tank. Two separate engineers have now called and said it needs replacing. Have heard nothing about when it will be replaced. But all engineers who have called have been very efficient and pleasant to deal with

Had a gas failure (not a leak). The engineer was busy dealing with actual leaks and could not get to me that evening - perfectly reasonable I thought. He did however guide me over the phone to reset the gas supply at the tank. This worked and meant we had hot water and heating for the evening. He told me he would get to me next morning At 09:00 and run checks and tests to ensure there was no underlying problems. He arrived a few minutes early, completed the checks and identified low pressure at the regulator which was adjusted. Thanks Wayne Shimmon- much appreciated.

Returned to our house in Argyll after having been away for 10 days to discover we had a gas leak, upon contacting the emergency help line we were advised a engineer would be in touch shortly. Jamie the engineer assigned to our call out duly contacted us to say he was currently in Dundee but would make his way to us ASAP, and that it would be 12 midnight to 1.00 am before he could get to us. As I had shut off the emergency gas valves end vented the gas in the house , I agreed with Jamie that we could wait till the next day for him to attend as I did not feel it necessary for him to travel from Dundee to ourselves when there was no immediate issue. Jamie arrived the next day at 10.00 and immediately put us at ease with his polite and professional manner and spent some considerable time in checking the installation and diagnosing the fault to be within our newly installed combi boiler, which he then isolated. It was apparent to us that Jamie enjoyed his work, and his professionalism and helpfulness was a credit to Calor and having been a customer for 20 years plus I would have no hesitation in giving them top marks.
