Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals

House was clean and well kept. Nice group of about 10 deer visited the property daily. Had a wonderful snowfall while my family was there.

The check-in experience was very efficient and seamless, the property was thoroughly cleaned, and the views were amazing!!

My sisters, my daughter and my husband arrived with my 95 year old mother who LOVES the mountains. Our concern was finding a clean home with a minimum number of steps to get in and with a bedroom on the 1st level. This home met all of our needs. It was spotless and fully stocked with things we needed! It was a real hilly travel to get to but it was like a precious jewel tucked away in a lost treasure chest. We are planning to go back.

Great location and home! Really enjoyed our time at Muir Lodge and loved the amenities in the home. Close to hiking and the parkway it was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. Thank you!

The cabin was really nice and clean. The weather was cold with a little snow on the grounds. The kids had fun. The cabin was nice and warm. The fireplace didn’t work. They did send a repair guy but he couldn’t get it to work. It was close to restaurants. We brought our dogs and the place was pet friendly! We will definitely be back again.

The house is just as described and has all the essentials you would need. Policies arent too bad either, so you won't be doing much to take care of the place or for checkout. Plus the view is fantastic up on top of mountain! Good enough to get engaged at!

Great cabin, excellent customer service. Perfect setting for a family getaway!

We stayed at Creeksong Cabin in Banner Elk and it was less than satisfactory. The home was extremely dusty to the point my family's allergies would be set off anytime we were in the home. We even had to have the rental company bring a cleaning crew but it was still dusty afterwards. The only way to heat the home (besides portable space heaters) was a wood fire stove. This was never marketed or mentioned in the booking details! We have a 3 year old so it was so unsafe since the stove is burning hot on the outside. There was always a faint smell of smoke which made me feel uneasy having a toddler in the home on top of my being pregnant. This should have been mentioned. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and sloped. Even with the mattress pad the rental company offered they were still miserable. There were no curtains on the windows and even the bathrooms! So if you value sleep or privacy then don't stay here. It smelled of dog dander everywhere. We left one night early because we simply didn't want to be in the home anymore. I would not recommend this home to anyone.

Communication was great, the cabin was itself amazing. However, We received a text message earlier in the morning that ok'd us for early check in. It said the property had been cleaned and prepared for our arrival. Upon our arrival, it appeared no one had been to the property in some time. 2 smoke alarms were sounding every few minutes due to dead batteries, there were dead flies everywhere, and ashes/previously burned logs in the fireplace. My complaint is that if the house was cleaned and prepared for our arrival, there would not have been those issues left. The rental experience was great, BRMR did fix the issues. I would recommend better attention to detail with your rental properties.

Our stay at The Cedar Wood Lodge, November 21 - 26, 2024, was exceptional to say the least. My husband and I, our daughter, her husband and our three grandchildren had the most extraordinary time at this absolutely gorgeous and well stocked and cleaned “home away from home”. We had a slight issue with a couple of the gas fireplaces, however, it was instantly taken care of when I called Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals to ask for assistance. I have spoken with several staff members of this company from the day I first booked our stay through reporting the fireplace issue; everyone has been so pleasant and helpful. It began to snow upon our arrival on Thursday so we stocked up on groceries at the Publix grocery in Boone, which is so convenient. What a magical Friday and Saturday we had with the grands in the snow at this most comfortable and cozy lodge! It was like a very sweet fairytale dream…simply perfect! We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, making s’more’s and sipping hot cocoa by the outdoor wood burning fireplace with the children and watching the amazing sunsets in the evenings by the fire. What a breath taking view from all around the deck playing and relaxing outside! The location is convenient to Boone, Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson and many other places, as well, where we visited to choose and cut our Christmas trees and do quite a bit of Christmas shopping! We are so thankful to give the NC mountain people our business after such a horrific tragedy in October. You have been in our hearts and prayers since the beginning and will remain there for the length of your recovery! We continue to follow your progress and donate where we are lead to for your healing! The NC Mountains have been deep in my heart since I was a very young child…it was so wonderful to be back with the people that I love…my family and all of you who live there! I miss the home that we sold there, but have found a simply perfect place to stay when we go…The Cedar Wood Lodge! Thank you so much Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals! You are awesome! Heating system failure. No heat with temperatures in the 20’s outside…. Also main fireplace not turning on.

Great experience! Clean, and so so cozy!!! Would go back anytime.

The cabin was just perfect. From the many amenities like the hot tub and fireplaces to layout and cleanliness it provided the perfect weekend getaway. We loved cooking on that amazing stove. Let’s not forget the spectacular views.

This home that we rented in Blowing Rock was wonderful. There was plenty of space for our party of 8. Both kids and adults enjoyed themselves. Beds and home were comfy. Downtown was very close. We loved that. The community pool and sauna were great. We really enjoyed our weekend visiting the area. We hope to visit again soon.

Great location, serene, private, clean and comfy unit

As APP Alumni, we’ve been spending many years in the mountains at different properties. The drive to and from Boone is so scenic and enjoyable! The house is well designed and has beautiful updated furnishings. There is so much space for multiple families and friends to enjoy. The view on a beautiful fall day or even a snowy winter day is breathtaking. We can’t wait for our next trip!
