I want to heavily recommend using Audley Travel. My step-father and I used their service for a trip to New Zealand and neither of us could commend this company enough. We were connected with a great women, Keila, who was so incredibly insightful and helpful in our planning. It was extremely comforting knowing that our trip was in the hands of someone so bright. Everything worked out perfectly for us. The trip ended up being my favorite trip of my life because of her help. My step-dad texted me a couple of days ago about the trip and he was so grateful. He was still in awe a week after we returned home. Anyways, I loved the trip that Audley gave us and all of the insights that helped us along the way.
We contacted Zac last year to enquire about a trip to Canada . We had teams/zoom discussions to share ideas about what we would like to do . Zac listened to us and got it spot on! Zac created our itinerary, which included a detailed step by step guide to where to be when … absolutely brilliant , thank you Zac, everything was just perfect !
We have just booked our dream holiday to visit Alaska, take the Rocky Mountaineer train and do a cruise. Leo has been amazing as a travel advisor and has expert knowledge in this field to guide us and has taken lots of time to tailor our trip to ensure we have the best experience. The itinerary looks incredible ... I felt he genuinely cares in making sure he helps to create our trip of a lifetime! We can't wait to go next year and would highly recommend Audley Travel and Leo for the Canada region.
This is our second time using Audley to help us navigate a wonderful vacation. Last year we enjoyed Canada, this year we tipped our toes into Europe, and headed to Ireland! Lydia was exceptional! We have two older girls and are an active family who loves to enjoy the outside and dine! She helped us balance both of those requests seamlessly. We kayaked by castles, walked the Cliffs of Moher, walked to waterfalls, biked through Dublin, and never stopped smiling at the beauty around us! Once we were ready to relax we had reservations for dinner and each place was unique and delicious! Thank you Lydia for helping to make our dream holiday a reality!
We had the most fantastic Safari in Namibia organised by Arista Midwinter from Audley Travel who used the most efficient local Namibian company Ultimate Safaris for guiding us through the country. From our departure from London Heathrow till our return approximately two weeks later everything ran as smoothly as clockwork. A very well balanced safari. Our guide for the whole trip Jason was absolutely incredible, his knowledge of everything relating to this safari and much more knew no bounds. Animals, birds, plants and trees. We even had a lesson in astronomy. The lack of light pollution gave a wonderful view of the starry night. All accommodations were well chosen for their locations and all meals were very good. The first couple of nights staying in Windhoek in the first class hotel The Weinberg gave a chance to acclimatise and get used to the high temperatures we were going to experience. From there onto Sossusvlei where we stayed in Dead Valley Lodge and from where we were taken to the dunes and dried out pan of Sossusvlei - an incredible experience with our first sighting of Oryxes. From here we travelled to Swakopmund via Walvisbay where we saw beautiful flamingos and had an outing on a catamaran seeing the enormous population of seals. Then onto Damaraland staying in the most unusual but comfortable lodge Camp Kipwe. The rooms were built in between the rocks with outdoor facilities, but all very private and of course air conditioned. From here we did elephant tracking and thanks to our knowledgeable guide found a small herd. The following day we visited Twyfelfontein with its rock etchings which apparently were between 2000 and 6000 years old - fascinating! In the evening while having sundowners we saw the most beautiful sunset we’ve ever seen. From Camp Kipwe we travelled on to Etosha National Park where we stayed just outside the park in Ovanga Lodge, which was set in an enormous reserve with its own wildlife. On late afternoon/evening game drives besides Impalas, springbok, wildebeests, zebras, kudos we saw Rhinos and a pride of 6 lions. That was before we got into Etosha! The lodge again was very comfortable and the meals as everywhere before was excellent.
Etosha National Park is very large- somebody mentioned it is about the size of Belgium, so it was again thanks to our excellent guide that during the next couple of days we got to see so much wildlife including rhinos, giraffes and lions. A first for even our guide was the sighting of 5 cheetahs together! Then one morning around 11.00 we got to a water hole where there must have been at least 50 elephants drinking and messing around and after about 10 minutes a further herd of about 25 to 30 approached through the bushes. Well what more did we want. The only animals we did not see were leopards and hyenas, but as they are more nocturnal this wasn’t surprising.
Our safari finished with a very comfortable stay at the Omaanda reserve about 3/4 hr drive from Windhoek airport. All in all this was one of our best holidays we’ve had (and we have travelled a fair bit).

This was our first experience using a travel agent to plan a trip for us. It was a trip of a lifetime, and we are ready to do more. We went from Perth, Australia on the Indian Pacific Railway to Adelaide. From there we drove the Great Ocean Road through Port Campbell and down to Melbourne. We then flew to Sydney before returning home. Our highlights were Rottness Island, Winery Tour, Kangaroo Island, Grampians National Park, Pinnacle, Mackenzie Falls, Boroka Lookout, Phillip Island Wildlife Expedition (including the Penguin Parade), Lanes and Arcades Tour in Melbourne, and Sydney Harbour Long Lunch Cruise. Anthony was thorough in talking with us about what kinds of excursions and tours we were interested in doing on this trip. He was there to assist us before, during and after this trip.
We chose Audley because my husband uses a wheelchair and we wanted to be sure everything was right for him. Audley were excellent, all travel arrangements and hotels were accessible and of a high standard. Jindy, our assigned rep, kept in touch and made sure any hiccups were sorted promptly. We'd definitely use them again

Everything was brilliantly organised, the trip went seamlessly. It was pretty perfect in truth and the boat trip down the Nile was stunning and beautiful, not to mention comfortable. I'd go back in a second.Thank you.
Yet again Audley did not let us down. They put together a great tour for us and the support we got from Shannon, who had a lot of local knowledge and the teams on the ground were excellent. This is out third tour with them, and we will certainly use them again in future.
Audley travel organized a wonderful trip for my family of 7 to Iceland. We had fantastic, knowledgeable guides to help us get the most out of our experiences
in this gorgeous country. We were basically taken care of every step of the way from arriving at the airport to being driven back.
Our agent, Julia Mole was responsive to our requests and constructed the perfect trip for us. We really
did have a once in a lifetime trip to Iceland including
Northern Lights, Ice Cave, Lava tube, Highlands SuperJeep tour, black beaches, geysers, geothermic pools, many beautiful waterfalls, finding the elusive Arctic Fox ,and even seeing an erupting volcano (that we were able to get pictures of on our way back to the airport). We had a very happy group of travelers.
Just returned from a two-week trip to India -- Golden Triangle and a brief visit to self India.
Overall the experience was first-class. To begin with, Audley’s US India tour manager was responsive and informative on all points both before and during travel. Audley’s pre-trip package
is very complete and valuable to the traveler. Audley city office staff were consistently present at all key moves and hand-offs during the trip. The drivers provided a high level of confidence in difficult circumstances. The guides were well-informed and solicitous -- and able to calibrate the pace to fit our needs. The selection of hotels was excellent – both the new ones and the interesting “legacy properties -- and the prices were reasonable. Of course, standards of service would be considered “pampering” by US standards. Altogether, Audley provided a fantastic experience!
We had been trying to schedule a tour of the South African winelands for years, but it was not until we connected with Tom Wilkinson of Audley Travel that we were able to make it a reality. Tom is an African travel professional and SA wine enthusiast, having traveled numerous times to the continent and visited many, if not all, of the Cape Winelands wineries. He was the ideal person to help us plan this trip.
From the first conversation we had with Tom, he listened to our desires and was able to quickly suggest timing and itineraries for the Cape Town area. He presented us with a tentative itinerary and helped tweak it to our specific needs and desires. He arranged fantastic hotels/resorts for our stay, and all transfers and visits in the area. All we had to do was show up at the airport - the rest was taken care of seamlessly.
We also wanted to visit Victoria Falls during this trip, so, again, Tom made all the travel arrangements for us. He also suggested, since we were so close to Botswana, that we should do a short safari excursion to Chobe National Park. What an outstanding suggestion! Seeing so many animals in the wild was just amazing. The combination of the Winelands, Victoria Falls, and Chobe made for an unforgettable vacation.
A few weeks before our trip, we had another conversation with Tom, where he went over all the details and made sure all our questions were answered. Audley Travel also provides a very nice printed binder with daily itineraries and very helpful additional information.
Thank you Tom and Audley Travel for a wonderful vacation. We would highly recommend Audley, and Tom specifically, for any African travel plans.
