Constant problems with no water can't replace the pipes but can pay their shareholders
Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

We have just received our water bill, unlike the rainwater it keeps going up. More disturbing is the claim the meter was read. That is most unlikely because it is part overgrown by garden leeks (no pun intended) of the sedum variety. Aside from which when, in the past the meter has been read, the cover is usually not replaced properly!
Having had the unfortunate experience of a water leak in the service line (between manifold / meter, at our small private close entrance) and our house, which became evident with dramatically increased usage, the last thing I would have needed would have been disinterest, or no caring at all by A/W. The exact opposite was true. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, not least by effectively putting the account on hold, keeping my D/D the same, and allowing time to get sorted. I initially spoke to Ben, who was very empathetic and reassuring, the same experience was what I found each subsequent call whilst keeping them appraised through to rectification. They also gave a leakage allowance so we weren't out of pocket. I think the other really important thing to note is that every time I called, the phone was answered very quickly - no interminable 'all of our operators are busy / your call s important / we are experiencing a high volume of calls etc....' messages and aggravating, distorted music! Thankfully our insurer was equally swift to deal, and very helpful, so there didn't end up a drama being made out of a crisis! One further thing to note, this has made me ever so slightly paranoid, and I have set a calendar recurrence (every 8 weeks) to check the meter to ensure no water 'flowing' when none being used! Regrettably the A/W survey about my experience went into my spam folder, and by the time I found it, the survey window was closed, so I couldn't give feedback, which is a real shame.
They do not care about people! just to make money
Keeps raising prices. Keeps being surprised by spills but does little maintenance. And POLLUTES THE WATERS WITH UNTREATED SEWAGE. And now they will make US pay for all their faults after "apologising", bringing our bills even higher. Privatisation failed, they're just part of the energy extortion circle. Edit: their response is good for nothing standardised defense of plain theft by daylight. In the mean time in the news: "30 water treatment works released 11bn litres of raw sewage in a year, study suggests". NATIONALISE!!!

Thank you Darren I had been quite shaken and emotional as I had been working quite hard for over 3 years and unlike me hadn’t checked my bills I had been overpaying a lot When I phoned a gentleman called Darren took it at his initiative to deeply check and immediately reduced to £5 per month until fully recovered. I cannot explain how much that has helped me as a single owner of my property and how important it is to have a connection with our suppliers who are there to help. I cried! Big than you, it’s helped me manage in a better way.
We had a leak at our smart water meter. It was well communicated and the engineers that did the work were professional and polite.
If you live in the Eaton soon area, they're on the 11th outage of 2023 searching via my message history. One of those was for 3 days during which time they refused to give out water as tanker trucks were on the way, guess what those tanker trucks didn't bring to my home, any water pressure. The water is completely out again today. But they've refused to help as according to them it's just low pressure, no, there be nay a drop from my taps. Time to get the equipment to start cleaning my own rainwater at this point, Anglian water cannot be relied on to provide reliable mains supply at all.
