Im Glad I purchased from the Electric Road store. My problems were coming from the Salem store. All is good now and I'm pleased with my purchases. Ask for Ryan! He'll take good care of you.

I bought a Hotpoint washer [529.99]…

I bought a Hotpoint washer [529.99] from American freight on 01/09/2023 it broke not even 3 months later. the GE repairman said he has never seen a washer break in this way. if I could give less than one star I would they don't deserve even 1. the recite says all sells final because they would be out of business refunding all the junk they sell. I highly do not recommend anyone to shop here. already spoke to a manager just goes to show the shady way they handle defective appliances

Bought a dryer, but it didn't work, and the manager doesn't want to give me a refund

I bought a whirlpool gas dryer from an American Freight store less than two weeks ago, and the dryer does not function. I tried all the different automatic and manual settings, and it does not work. It takes over 4 hours to dry a small load of active-wear clothing. I've been reaching out to the store where I bought the dryer since last week and finally got a hold of a manager today. I told him I would like a refund, and he said he would not refund my money. The manager said to reach out to Whirlpool and have them send a technician to repair the dryer. The entire point of buying a new piece of equipment is to not have to deal with repair issues, especially when you bought it a few days ago. They said the equipment would work, but it didn't, and the store doesn't want to refund me the $582.99 I spent. I don't trust this company at all anymore. It should not be this difficult, to get a refund for a product you just bought that does not work. I don't want to do any more business with them. It is expensive getting a dryer to and from a store. This situation has been a headache. After hearing that the American Freight Broadview store would not refund me my money, I reached out to the American Freight Corporate office. Corporate said they could not do much, and it is the decision of the Broadview store if they want to refund me the $582.99 I spent on a dryer that does not work. What is the point of having a customer support team if you can't even support or listen to your customers? The corporate staff I encountered were only trying to get me off the phone and transfer me to the Broadview store. I only had one good experience with corporate staff, but the rest of my experience with customer support staff was awful. They were rude. How is it fair, that I paid almost $600 of my hard-earned money for a piece of equipment that doesn't work and cannot even get my money back?

I bought more than $4200 dollars from this store, which I paid immediately in full as soon as I ordered my furniture, my order was sent too late, incomplete, and some things were wrong or did not work. Well! The issue is that in my order I ordered two folders, which I never received and they never returned my money. The sales director (Anthony Harris) asked me to send him an email when he saw my very negative review of this store, supposedly to fix the situation, and I took the time to write him in detail about everything that happened, but nasa "I guess I just He responded to my review to look good" This store has not the slightest intention of doing the right thing. I HOPE AND THEY TAKE IT OUT OF BUSINESSES! Compre de esta tienda mas de $4200 dollares, que les pague inmediatamente en su totalidad tan pronto ordene mi furniture, mi orden la enviaron de masiado tarde, incompleta, y algunas cosas estaban equivocadas o no servian. Bueno! El asunto es que en mi orden encargue dos carpetas, que nunca me environment y que nunca me devolvieron mi dinero. El director de ventas (Anthony Harris) Me pidio le enviara un email al ver mi muy negativo review de esta tienda, supuestamente para arreglar la situacion, y le me tome el tiempo de escribirle detalladamente todo lo sucedido, pero nasa " Me imagino que solo dio respuesta a mi review para verse bien" Esta tienda no tiene ni la mas minima intencion de hacer lo correcto. OJALA Y LA SAQUEN DE BUSINESSES!

From inside the store with Treg & Tyler, to the men who delivered my items, my experience was exceptional! Everyone was very personable, helpful and supportive. The men who delivered my items were very conscious of space, not hitting anything. They even were so generous & kind to help me with putting felt pads on my items & upright them so I didn't have to figure out that myself. FABULOUS experience & highly recommend American Freight! THANK YOU!

I went to the store in Sherwood AR in…

I went to the store in Sherwood AR in September 2022 and spent $1,697.00 which included a warranty. When the furniture was delivered, they put a huge long dent/scratch down the hallway in my brand new house. I didn’t make a huge deal because things happen. One of the pillows has black marker all over it, again I just got it off the best I could and don’t make a big deal. Two months later the entire bottom is falling out of my sectional and is basically useless. I report it to the warranty company and they approve a new sofa. The store calls me and tells me to come and get it. I say no, I only have a car, don’t know anybody in this state, and paid $160 to have it delivered the first time. It’s not my fault your furniture fell apart. I was told they had nobody to deliver it that week and they could do it later. I waited an entire month and called again, still nobody to deliver my couch. So basically I spent almost 2 grand on furniture and a delivery and have no couch to sit on. Terrible experience and a waste of money.

American Freight cannot complete orders

American Freight has now cancelled two orders. Torrence location said the washer/dryer set is no longer available and then said they can't deliver over 50 miles. Online it allows delivery for $170 which I was going to pay. If there is a 50 mile rule, they should make it clear. I think they just don't want to drive to deliver and when they saw it was 55 miles, suddenly both items become "unavailable". I now have thousands of pending charges on my card that could take weeks to process.

China Grove,NC False advertising

In China Grove,NC they advertise stuff that they don't have. Not to mention they didn't even try to offer a different item for the same price as advertised. Went in there sign says 298.00 nothing in there was under 500.00. False advertising..smh

Worst place to buy furniture

Worst place to buy furniture, poor quality, easily breaks during delivery. Don't waste your time and money. Their website/adds are just to attract customers to drive extra mile, but in reality, you will get poor/damaged/mostly returned furniture.

Company is very dishonest

Company is scamming . I purchased a box spring a bed washer and dryer months ago it was a hassle getting them to send my box spring for days I would call and ask where it was and after I paid with the in store credit which I’ve consistently been making payments on and finally had it paid off I see a random transaction today to my account for over a thousand almost half of the credit available . I keep on calling people and everyone keeps saying they don’t know anything about it though they see the transaction in my account I should call other people . Since I told the store in Columbus that it was charged at their store they said they hadn’t seen anyone charge the account and since have not picked my calls to inquire about a refund . It’s terrible . Don’t buy here

I Am Writing because I Purchased Two…

I Am Writing because I Purchased Two Finance Leases and Paid them Both off in 3 Months. I Cannot Believe I was going to Refinance Another Living Room Set Since it’s Been less than 2 Years and the Cushions are Peeling. I Cannot Believe I was Denied. The Living Room Set didn’t last as Long as I thought So I go to See About Financing Again and No. That’s Crazy I thought when you finish a Purchase your chances Get Better not Worse. To Say the Least the Call Center is Very little Help. I am Surprised AF I Paid my Things off.

Delivery Guys Aggressive towards Elderly Customer

I witnessed the most disturbing acts of aggression from two delivery guys working for this company towards an elderly customer they were delivering furniture to. Myself and others watched as the delivery guys yelled at and cussed at the customer. Afterwards they sped off in the company box truck and nearly caused an accident as they were leaving. I called the manager, Nate, to inform him of the incident and initially he tried to downplay it saying that he had heard about the incident and “talked” with the guys but then proceeded to act annoyed that I asked if anything more was going to be done. Those guys should have been fired on the spot! I would NEVER recommend using this company or allowing them in your home. They are disrespectful, unprofessional, and beyond rude.

Not willing to help

I attempted to purchase a washer/dryer combo this morning online. Unbeknownst to me, my bank had previously flagged my credit card for possible fraud, due to some other purchases I'd made. So, the online purchase declined a few times. I then called my bank, and got everything cleared up. After speaking with them, I attempted the online transaction again, and it appeared to go through. I am/was making this purchase from Texas, for a pick up in Wisconsin by the renter of my rental property out there. He drove an hour to pick it up. While there, he was told there was no order in the system. So, I called customer service and was told that because my credit card was declined multiple times, they'd (rather, their fraud prevention TPA) flagged it as possible fraud, and so the transaction wasn't taking place. I asked how we could remove the flag, and was told we couldn't. I asked for a supervisor and spoke with 'Cory' (do not recall last name). Cory - though nice enough - was unwilling to let me speak with his supervisor, and was unwilling or unable to help clear the transaction. My only options, I was told, were to a) go into the store in person (again, I'm in TX, and this was a unit in WI), or to use a different credit card (which I didn't want to do, as that card has a zero balance). I get the concept of needing to have fraud protection, but the inability to undo a flag is unacceptable. I will be proactively steering people away from ever purchasing at American Freight. I would be willing to - and will advise any others I speak with - spend a little more money elsewhere SOLELY to avoid doing further business with American Freight. Absolutely horrid way of doing business.

Don't waste your time at American Freight.…

I went to American Freight to purchase a washing machine. I applied for the financing and was approved. The clerk sent a link to my phone that I had to approve the purchase. I clicked "Approve" but nothing happened. The clerk was unable to complete the purchase. We wasted an hour because they are not able to actually approve a purchase even when the buyer is standing right there. Also, the washing machine on the floor was used. It was not just a scratch and dent model, but a used, returned model.
