We are looking to switch vendors for bilingual testing because the test provided by Alta is very hard to hear and does not give enough time to process the information. A person is also docked points for asking the system to repeat because they are unable to hear. We have employees who are fluent in both English and Spanish and who have had medical terminology training in both who are unable to pass level 2 as well as clinicians who are fluent in both unable to pass CCLA.

We are a large district with multiple languages. we have been able to utilize ALTA to help support the testing of languages that are hard to find elsewhere. Our scholars have shared that they appreciate speaking to a real person for the listening and speaking portion of the test.
