Came back from work and resting in my new wonderful home. I can’t rate Daryl enough for the experience he’s given me, he’s made it so easy to move here. Moving from Norwich was difficult finding somewhere, and it was a really smooth seamless process. Being from Heaton from where I came from and being able to locate me next to my mum. I've been in touch with Ad Hoc for a while now, both Claire and Aaron have been great throughout. Claire was super helpful in answering all my questions (and there were a lot!) and kept me updated even when things weren’t 100% confirmed yet. She was honest about what they could and couldn’t provide, which I really appreciated. Aaron reached out to me about a new place and was quick to follow up with details. It was nice to deal with someone straightforward and responsive. There were a couple of delays earlier on, but Claire took the time to explain what happened and made sure things were handled better moving forward. That really showed me they cared about doing right by people. Overall, both Claire and Aaron were professional, down-to-earth, and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend them if you’re thinking about trying property guardianship with Ad Hoc.

Excellent service from start to finish. I came across this as an option to save money during a difficult time. Special mention to the Liverpool team and in particular Lee who have always been helpful whenever I have needed them for anything. I would recommend to anyone!

My spacious Ad Hoc room became a much-loved home for over 4 years. I had sufficient privacy, whilst having some lovely co-guardians with some of whom I'm still in touch. For me the occasional discomforts of watching over a beautiful but dilapidated mansion were compensated by the charms of the place and its garden. But prospective Guardians do need to manage their expectations - you are rewarded through massively reduced living costs for taking responsibility for a building and adapting to sometimes imperfect living conditions. The deal worked perfectly for me, as it enabled me to fund my start-up business. The arrangement does mean you need prompt support from the Ad Hoc team when things inevitably go wrong, and I found all the staff, whether those in the office whom I never met, or those who visited, extremely helpful, professional and concerned when matters required attention. And when the property was sold and the guardianship sadly ended, everything was tied up with commendable efficiency, including swift repayment of my deposit. I would definitely welcome another guardianship with Ad Hoc.

I was a guardian with Ad Hoc for a few months and it was a great experience, despite the lockdown that began shortly after. Ad Hoc were always pleasant and helpful, and for a while I lived in a beautiful listed building in the centre of Barnsley. It was an opportunity to save money, then when I found my feet and a flat, all I had to do was give my notice and move out. My deposit was refunded on time. I wouldn't hesitate to be a property guardian again in the future with Ad Hoc.

I found Ad Hoc by chance, and after I contacted Robert Cross and decided to move in everything was ok. I could save some money from rent and use it to travel more, mainly my objective when moved to one of their properties as a guardian.

Only just started as a guardian with ad hoc but so far so good, staff are really helpful and it's easy to deal with any issues that may come, decent prices for the accommodation and the other folks in the building are pretty decent
