Be very careful with this company, wanted to check when my MOT was due, somehow managed to get onto this site. I now find that they are taking Β£7.95 a month out of my account. This is definitely scam country.
very easy to complete
If I could give them ZERO stars - I would! I'm another deceived person to add to the queue of people here. We clicked on what we thought was a link to tax a car and then got this sh*t! Very deceitful way of marketing themselves as a government website for car tax. Got charged Β£7.95 for some BS subscription. They would not budge and stated their system is very clearly....very clearly meant to deceive more like! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

COMPLETE SCAM... I received an official, government Vehicle Tax (V11) Reminder; and when I entered the online Tax Renewal website address given in the reminder letter - I 'think' (although not quite certain what happened), that I may have entered 'gove' instead of 'gov' by mistake. I suspect this is a common typographical error. This then automatically directed me to this "Vehicle Information" website. Website did feel unfamiliar, but offered me an option for Car Tax renewal; with 'initial' questions related to my car and its tax renewal. But after taking credit card details - I was charged 50p and I believe there is then a monthly payment taken. And then I was asked to create a Password... it was at this point I realised I was not renewing my Car Tax - although the website did focus on that, so I think it is intentionally misleading. I went Online to investigate and found others complaining that they had been misled into thinking they were dealing with DVLA/Tax renewal - only to realise they'd signed up to something they weren't seeking and that there was a small initial charge - then a higher, regular monthly charge. PLUS!! At the end of the process, just to add insult to injury - you are automatically asked to provide a Trust Pilot review - which I did π€¬, because at this stage I still thought I was being asked about the ease with which I'd renewed my TAX. I immediately cancelled any membership of this organisation; and am raising the matter with my Credit Card company. But am obviously concerned that they have taken my credit card details and other information.

Scam. On checking the gov.uk website my vehicle is taxed up to date and my monthly payment has rolled over. Yet this website wants me to pay again. (And has even sent me an email to make sure I do.) Thank goodness I double checked before completing the transaction.

Giving the impression of dvla site, if I had not noticed this I might have been driving with no road tax . I had to contact bank and cancel card used .

I, too, had the experience of trying to renew my car tax and this seemed to be a part of the process which charged me 50p at the time. However, it seemed to then have no relevance to the process. There was no mention of further payment of Β£7.95 which I have now found on my credit card bill. I am now trying to cancel this, as other reviewers have said it is a subscription.

Unfortunately during my on-line renewal of my car road tax I unwittingly filled in an optional form regarding vehicle information where there was no indication regarding the charges involved. I have since determined that my completion of this form means that I have unknowingly signed up to a monthly subscription of Β£7.95 which was not mentioned anywhere on the form. I will therefore be cancelling my account and requesting my bank to stop any further payments. This is a very underhanded way of doing business and should be stopped immediately
