If I could give them ZERO stars..!

If I could give them ZERO stars - I would! I'm another deceived person to add to the queue of people here. We clicked on what we thought was a link to tax a car and then got this sh*t! Very deceitful way of marketing themselves as a government website for car tax. Got charged £7.95 for some BS subscription. They would not budge and stated their system is very clearly....very clearly meant to deceive more like! AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Scam - reported to Action Fraud

Scam, same as others reviews. Typed the exact address on my DVLA vehicle tax renewal form but was somehow redirected unknowingly to this company. Entered my information and credit card details believing it was a Government website but they scammed my out of money. Totally pathetic con people. Reported to my credit card company and Action Fraud.

Toal con

Toal con. as everyone I was renewing car tax and put details in thinking it was DVLA. Next thing I noticed was 50p then 7.49 taken from my card. E mailed them and said I don't have an account. If I don't have account how can they take money. I can see no reason for this site but to scam DVLA users. If you are reading this explain why you took the money

Deceitful and misleading.

Yep. Caught out whilst tired, busy and ill. This company plays the browser algorithm and gets itself at the top of the results when you search for the UK government website for vehicle taxation. Asking the same questions that the official site asks and ultimately get payment details and charged you 50 pence initially and send an email link you have to click on to complete taxation. I wasn’t expecting that and didn’t see the email and didn’t click…. And so hadn’t completed my car tax payment! Fortunately noticed when I saw an unexpected £7.95 pending transaction on my debit card and then found the email. I have now taxed in time directly with the government site but I am left trying to get this deceitful payment returned (by email of course, their “24/7” contact number only takes messages. I feel such an idiot for not having spotted this. I hate to think how many people they keep money from because they don’t notice or don’t want the effort of trying to get it back. Fraudulent through intentional lack of transparency about what they are doing. When I finally paid my tax I included the feedback that the DVLA should be stamping this out instead of allowing these people to mislead so many.

A complete con

I thought I was renewing my car tax - went through the process and at the end of the process was asked for a passowrd to set up an account. Have just found out that the car tax was not paid but 50p taken to set up a subscription which has now taken £7.95. No idea how they managed to divert me from the actual DVLA web address, but they did ! Luckily noticed this and was able to actually tax the car, before it was too late.
