Was looking for a Ducati Scrambler 800 as my next bike. A part exchange was at the forefront of the deal.
Wheels had what seemed the ideal bike with the right model, mods, mileage and price. My contact was Joe Scott who provided me with all the answers to the questions asked. A subsequent walk round video clinched it for me and we continued our discussions to a part exchange deal.
Despite this being an online purchase (I'm three hours away) I'm delighted with the overall experience: the communication, ease of the process to purchase, and Joes' involvement. (and even when he wasn't available he still made sure that I was kept informed).
Oh, I love the bike and would happily work with Wheels again should the opportunity arise.
Purchased a honda Goldwing, unfortunately had issues that wasn't apparent until it was rode home,
reported the issues was promptly collected and checked over and delivered,
unfortunately the problem happened again and another problem also showed up
Promptly collected again offered to fix it and give me a 1 Years honda warranty as an apology but opted to return for a refund that they did without argument/hesitation
Very friendly and accommodating customer service
From the moment, I walked into Wheels, Peterborough, which I searched online for Triumph Tiger 1200 SE Alpine which I decided on which motorbike to enquire about.
I was directed by a member of staff to Joe Scott, he instantly was attentive and asked me to show him what motorbike, I was thinking of getting explaining to him that leg reach was tip toes, he mentioned a lowering kit that was available in which came in two kits 20 and 40 mm.
I part exchange my motorbike, sign a few online forms which were straightforward even change the collection date a week earlier which Joe was very happy to do, on the collection day he showed and explained the controls and back history of the motorbike.
A very smooth and easy process at Wheels, Peterborough made even more by the friendly, informative staff.

Fantastic buying experience with Wheels. I had the pleasure of dealing with Joe. I spotted a Supersport 950s but was buying without seeing in person. I was given a thorough walk around video, all of my queries were answered, nothing seemed to be a problem. They held the bike for me when I was unable to take delivery as quickly as I had hoped, and the bike arrived in amazing condition. As I have bought the bike without seeing, there is also a 14 day cooling off period if I change my mind or am unhappy. Amazing service all round, and all with really friendly communication. Would definitely buy from Wheels again.
First time buying a bike (or any vechile for that matter) and I was made to feel very comfortable. Everything had been organised swiftly - including organising my cbt. Continued to have my services done at Wheels and later on, sold my bike back (all of which were all good experiences). Would recommend.

I visited Wheels in Peterborough to look at trading in my bike for an upgrade. Will was able to arrange a test ride on the bike I was looking to purchase, I bought the bike, got a good deal on my trade in and was kept informed throughout the process. Would gladly go back again for my next bike
Great Service Sales and Friendly Knowledgeable Staff
I have been purchasing motorcycles from Joe at Wheels for many years and find the service and after sales service second to none.the store staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the store atmosphere every time I visit is a family feeling.
Mixed bag.... was really disappointed with there service
I bought a bike from wheels a few weeks ago ,paid in full upfront from a video and some emails from the sales person... wasn't 100% correct about the prefect condition !! As there was a problem with the wing mirror. π€ Booked handover day, got the train for over three hour's to get there. On arrival at the shop, the greeting was less than friendly, I was told the sales person who was doing the handover was busy.. and I was directed to the bike I bought. Spending over 10k you except the bike to be clean.. it wasn't! Infact it clearly hadn't been even wiped over. I made my feelings known and first responce from wheels was " we can give you a full refund " not sorry, we'll sort it out, can we get you breakfast.. just a shrug and your money back.
At this stage I was going to get my money back and leave... then one of the younger shop assistants stepped in and said, I'll get it cleaned for you.
Sat down with the sales person to look over the paperwork.
Pre to handover day, I sent my givi topbox and battery charge cable.
The bike was cleaned ( poorly)
Handover was completed and I rode home..... the bike was what I wanted, so I was happy with the bike.
Once home I discovered they fitted the wrong battery charger cable.
This was rectified three weeks later, as I did all the chasing.... they did come to my work to get it done.....so that was something....
Overall I wouldn't buy a bike from them again... !!!! there attitude is very poor, no follow up call to see if the bike is still going well, or is everything OK...... truth be known , the only reason I came away from my own local dealer #lagunamotorcycles was because they couldn't get me what I wanted...
Wheels you've lost a customer that buys a few bike's and you'll loose more with your level of so called service π
Id addvise try and keep new customers!!
I bought a new battery, but the service team were completely booked up for two weeks. I needed it (total failure on the old one!), so I bought one and thought about fitting it myself. When I asked in parts where I might find the battery on my bike (it was going well), the Gent offered to fit it for me. I tried to pay, but he wouldn't hear of it. Great bloke, excellent service!
Since 2019, I've purchased two motorcycles from Wheels, used the servicing dept and purchased jeans and boots and other clothing items.
Why bother to travel 220 mile round trip ?
1) Sales, care, information, best offer price has been 2nd to none and fun (thanks particularly to Joe Scott),
2) Service dept have done a great job and accommodated replacement bike when needed and found to be cheaper than others (not to mention the Wheels lifetime guarantee offer),
3) The knowledge and patience of the very friendly clothes sales team has been superb in helping me buy exactly what I needed and nothing more (in person as well as online). Dealing with exchanges of items was quick and easy.
A big thank you to Will and the team at Wheels Peterborough for making the purchase of my new bike so easy and smooth. I'm now looking forward to the summer and touring Europe.

Emailed earlier in the day to ask availability of 1 piece Motorcycle suit giving correct size was told they still had my size checked the website again still showing my size was in stock drive 2 hours and when I got there was ignored. I tried one suit that didnβt fit then got told they hadnt any my size and I shouldnβt have been told that they had was asked if I had come to the correct store checked my emails and showed the email. The assistant then became rude and started trying to blame me for the mistake that had made anyhow wonβt use this business again customer service was really poor allround got a suit elsewhere later in the day which made me really happy that I did not spend my cash in this shop. I got really good customer service at Tyne other store.
