Great service and value for money from Waterfords. Our house sale fell through and Henry had another 7 potential buyers lined up on the next Saturday. Then 2 offers followed one of which was £20k over the asking price. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service, trustworthy and honest people, no underhand sales-play. Well done Henry and thank you Waterfords.
We have nothing but praise for the excellent service we have received from Waterfords, both in the letting and selling of our property. We are impressed by the professionalism of everyone we have dealt with and spoken to, most recently with Darren, who has liaised between all parties concerned with diplomacy and efficiency. I have been a client of Waterfords for some time now, and have only good things to say about the service recieved. The thing I consistently notice with the team is the all round upbeat attitude. There is never any pressure when speaking with them and we have built a good working relationship. The team have a good insight into the market, and I have been highly impressed by how quickly they have been able to let my property.

We rented a property through Waterfords and initially thought they were extremely professional. We used the Camberley branch and up until the move in - I couldn’t fault them. However , once we started living there - a few issues arose. #1 our property manager gave our landlord permission to enter the property with his own keys despite us informing them that they didn’t have our permission.(my partner was home alone and received the shock of her life when he burst through the door.) When I raised my concerns about this I was told I was over reacting , that there was a misunderstanding and that essentially as the landlord owned the property , he could enter whenever he pleased. We both know this Is not the case. #2 we actually couldn’t open or lock half of the windows in the property from the day we moved in. After our landlord entered the property without our permission , we naturally didn’t want the landlord entering again. We were told the only person that could fix the issues was the landlord himself. We finally agreed on letting him come round when I wasn’t home so not to scare my partner again. He came round and watched YouTube videos for two hours on how to remove a screw. He knew I was a carpenter and kept hinting that he needed help . But after he essentially broke into our home and our property manager informed us he was the only man capable of the job and after ten hour shift at work I wasn’t going to waste my time. We then had to wait another week for a professional to come round so all in all we couldn’t open or lock the majority of the windows downstairs. #3 left us without a working waste pipe for 2 months so all Of the contents or the sink emptied into the garden ruining some of our possessions. #4 ignored our concerns regarding the cleanliness of the property - we we’re told we had 10 days to mention anything with the check in report we didn’t agree with. We did this within a week. # on top of ignoring our comments regarding the check in report , they tried to extort money out of us when we vacated the property. I have never had one penny deducted from any deposit and I wasn’t going to start now. They withheld our deposit for 6 weeks after we left and the moment I emailed them and suggested I wasn’t accepting their inadequacy for a moment longer and would Be forced to contact TDS unless they retuned our deposit in full. They replied within 48 hours and decided that they would return the deposit in full. All in all a horrendous experience however not the worst we have reviewed from estate agents we have dealt with in the past. I suppose the issues are with the landlord and the Waterfords - however , it’s not just the landlords fault and Waterfords we’re complicit when the landlord broke in, by telling him he had permission to enter despite us informing them that was not the case , did nothing about it when he did break in , lies to me about the law and actually accused me of of being the difficult one! Unprofessional to say the least. Unfortunately , no , your replies are as inadequate as your services itself. I don’t understand why you can’t be honest and admit when you’re at fault.
