Mixed up communication to find rental property....!
I used the Fleet, Hants office to try and find rental properties in the Fleet area. Had a viewing in Fleet on 14th June for a rental flat. I took time off work and cancelled a meeting in order to make the viewing at 3.45pm.
The gentleman who met me from Waterfords was friendly and knowledgable. I loved the flat as soon as I got home I made an offer to rent. Only to be told that there was already an offer for the flat. Naturally I was disappointed and the gentleman I spoke to told me they were happy to submit my offer, I wondered why? So submitted my offer.
Heard nothing then called the Fleet office the next day and they gave me no further no updates on the flat. Ten minutes after I ended the call they called me back to tell me that my offer had been declined and the Landlord had gone with the original first offer.
After speaking to Sam who manages the Lettings department at the Fleet office, he did give me context to what actually happened. He clarified there was a mix up in communication and the Landlord was particularly slow in responding to offers on the flat in question. He did apologise and appreciated the feedback that I gave Waterfords, so am happy to change this review to reflect this
Excellent professional service from the entire crew since the beginning - ably led by Sandra. She has kept us informed of the viewings progress continuously and if not Sandra her team member Olly has been there right behind her.
