Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

"Fraudulent transaction" NO REFUND and horrible customer support service

I'm having a lot of trouble dealing with Voxi. I ordered a Pixel 8 phone and paid for it in full on January 11th along with a 30-day rolling plan. However, on January 12th, just before the DPD courier was about to deliver my phone, Voxi cancelled the order, claiming that the PayPal transaction was fraudulent. I was promised a refund in 3 to 5 days, but today is January 22nd and I still haven't received it. I have been in contact with Voxi's customer service multiple times, but they have given me different answers each time. I have lost hope of getting a refund and will be opening a case on PayPal to get my money back. Voxi's customer service has been terrible and I would not recommend them to anyone. They take your money quickly but refuse to refund it, even if it's not your fault. I believe that authorities should investigate how this company operates. Please be warned about Voxi and consider using a different phone provider.

Disastrous software infrastructure and support

Not very client-oriented company with the website that does not work, in-built chat where only a chatbot replies that it cannot solve a problem but does not transfer you to a real person, hotline that refuses to solve any of your problems and sends you to the chat, and the support team that refuses to refund you for the faults and malfunctions of the company. Thank you very much!

VOXI left us frustrated

VOXI left us frustrated and without a working phone for over 10 days. We decided ghe throw the Sim and waste the money we topped it up with. Got an EE Sim and it was up and running in seconds. Don't waste your time or money with Voxi

I cannot put into words how frustrating…

I cannot put into words how frustrating it is to talk to the staff on live chat, i have spent about 11 hours of my time explaining something and they still do not understand me, i got a sim with a code for a free months plan, the code was fine, but when i finalised the activation of the sim, the voxi site glitched and there an error message saying its not you, its voxi, when i went to input the code again it said the code had already been used. now i have been on live chat for the past 7 days explaining that its a voxi error and not a code error or the third party error, its an issue that lies solely with voxi. they keep putting the blame on the third party and telling me to visit them, which i have done, they wont give me a new sim as its been opened and it was a voxi error, but all iget on chat is voxi telling me to visit the third party again, instead of just addressing it themselves, and activating my sim and gaining a customer, stay away. the staff do not understand english

Fraudulent transaction and awful customer service

Claimed to have cancelled a handset order, but that was a lie. They then took payment and dispatched the item anyway. And now the returns process they have finally initiated appears to "lost" the handset. They continue to refuse my refund. Edit after Voxi response - the assurance of cancellation was directly from Voxi customer services chat. Their “X” contact team will reply a couple of times with a few hours between each message and then they will stop replying. Their executive complaints team will call once, then close the complaint with NO resolution. They cannot be trusted and are a damning representation of the parent company Vodafone.

I have left

Once a great service now a pretty bad experience and I am glad I've left and found a better provider. I had the 30g unlimited social media plan, travelled abroad in Europe and had to buy the roaming pass for extra money(£15). As that's only 20g I ran out fairly quickly and had to buy extra data (£9), as well as I had to extend the roaming for a further 8 days (£10)... I mean.. is not this ridiculous especially when you have no other option but to go with those prices? Now I am 11 days out of my data refresh and the website says I have used up my data allowance again when I've been using the usual social apps like before and never even reached anywhere near the allowance limit. For all those reasons, I've decided to stop using VOXI and switched to an unlimited data plan that supports roaming and I only pay £6 extra a month...

Terrible Signal

Changed to Voxi as contract had come to the end. Terrible signal - no 5G available. Gone back to old supplier where 5G was never an issue
