Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Chase up your friend referral voucher!

UPDATE: After contacting Voxi on Facebook messenger and a few days the vouchers have now been honoured for me and my friend, thank you to Jane & Karla for sorting this out. If I were you Voxi I would ditch the chatbot its terrible and frustrating! Ive still only done 4 stars as the fact Ive had to chase the vouchers and waste my own time, if it weren't for this it would be 5 stars as the data packages are excellent value for money, but if you do have any issues use Facebook messenger and NOT the chat bot, cheers Ash. Original review: Still waiting for the ‘friends with benefits’ voucher after 3 months for me and my friend,we have both contacted voxi on the matter with the chat bot but its not great! Disappointed.

I’ve been so happy with voxi for many…

I’ve been so happy with voxi for many years recommending it to friends and family, it has great give aways and other perks, and great price. Unfortunately in the past months I’ve had bad experiences including no signal-service and no data connection. Before these issues weren’t happening. For the past 5 days I have no service in my house which has been extremely frustrating with needing to contact people. No updates about this have been provided despite contacting voxi.

Shocking network takes payment for your…

Shocking network takes payment for your plan proof by email and bank statement then disconnects you spend 3 days on online chat trying to resolve to eventually get phone back on then day after opted back out despite numerous messages back and forth customer service are liers do not trust this network after 2 years of great service nothing but issues currently seeking legal action through CISAS and solicitor it’s the principal of taking money and not providing what I’ve paid for will update in next few weeks

Coverage is not there

Coverage is not there. I moved from EE 30 pounds a month to voxi. Its not working out in the 2 days I've used it. Messenger calls dropped. Download speeds shocking. I need better for my money

Good service, bad support system, and can't even give you a receipt.

I've been a happy customer with VOXI for approximately 6 years now. The service itself is excellent. It's good value and the offers are great. I topped up credit for my account so that I could roam outside of the standard coverage countries. I needed a receipt to expense this for my work. No receipt is emailed when you top up credit on VOXI. I submitted a receipt request on Vodafone, and they mistakenly believed that I was asking for a receipt for the purchase of my phone-- TWICE. I have been on 3 different support lines with VOXI and Vodafone support and they still cannot get me a receipt. Every time I try to contact support, it is a different person. Respectfully, it is unacceptable to not provide a receipt for money spent on a service or product. It may not seem like a lot of money to most people, but it matters to some of us, and at least by principle, it should not take so much of my time to chase down a simple receipt! Individually, VOXI support staff are polite and seemingly do their best to help, but the system set up at VOXI is not capable of resolving my issue. In fact, they would rather waste your time with an AI bot before they give you an agent. VOXI cares more about their cost of providing any support at all, than actually giving you support to fix your problems. Until VOXI fixes this issue for all their customers, my review will remain at 1 star.

Customer service is a joke

Their customer service is a joke. You have to go to X.com if you want to speak to a real person. But it's not much better than a chatbot. They just keep repeating general info, and make you feel that you keep them up. Update: I changed my rating from 1 to 3. As my problem was solved but it took lots of efforts.

Over a week without a working number as…

Over a week without a working number as they attempt a 3rd port for me. Customer service is friendly but just goes is loops. I can't access my bank or hr login without 2 factor authentication and voxi just apologises and then does nothing. Over and over again. Avoid this company if you want to transfer over an old number.

Poor coverage. Insane AI customer service

Almost non-existent coverage. All customer service is managed by bots, but if you "speak to an agent" you're connected with AI instead, which are completely insane and talk literal nonsense.

Lying about receiving referral vouchers

Came back to VOXI again and signed up with a new email using a referral link to get £20 voucher. Then I get told I used the same email, double checked again and it wasn’t the same email so I reached out to another agent. They told me I would receive the voucher in 30 days and never got it. Reached out to another agent again and they tell me I’m not eligible. What a joke.
