Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London β€” no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying Β£10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget β€” and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

No replacement of faulty phones

I bought a phone for them on special offer. It was a birthday present so not opened for a couple of weeks. Anyway, upon unboxing, the screen was faulty. No problem, it's within the 30 day fault period, so I message them asking for a replacement (their website Ts and Cs state that they will replace phones that develop a fault within 30 days). They can only refund, not replace, they tell me. If I want the same phone again, I just need to place another order. But, here's the thing: the special offer is now expired. If I want that same phone then I'll have to pay Β£300 more, because they sent me a faulty phone. They won't budge: won't also let me buy again at the same price. Tough. And the final kicker is that the refund will take up to 30 days! Brilliant: send me a faulty phone, don't let me replace it at the same cost (despite own Ts and Cs) and then leave me for 30 days with no phone and no money. Absolute shambles of a company. Before this I've been with them for years, but now going to move to another network because of this. Edit: the reply below totally ignores the fact that they won't let you repurchase a new phone to replace a faulty one at the price they originally sold it to you.

Scam comes to mind!

Scam comes to mind! Purchasing a Motorola razr ultra 50 and sim through PayPal on voxi site stated error start again. PayPal approval on phone and sim sent back to voxi site again error start again πŸ˜‘. Voxi taken payment for a sim twice! Phone payment not taken! Contacting voxi is ridiculous keep asking for my voxi sim number πŸ™„. I ain't got one!! The company is a joke...stay well clear i have successfully ordered the phone through a trustworthy company and delivery next day. Voxi give me my money back and don't tell me to sign into your site because it is impossible.

Just joined them and I already regret it. Nothing is accessible. The website is crap because it loads for hours. You can't complete anything on it. If this is a reflection on the service am going to keep walking

Absolutely rubbish

Absolutely rubbish, your website is not user friendly in terms of some one trying to get help and speak to a live agent, all the helpline numbers just end up hanging up on you. Your online chat assist is rubbish too. I'll give you a example of my situation so my daughters phone broke and got lost, we no longer need to the phone now or the number and can not receive the OTP because we don't have the phone or sim card. We can not log into the online account to cancell our payments so trying to get this sorted out is just so shitty and long winded, how can some one resolve this? I have been going round and round, even tried to call Vodafone so be then told I need to call voxi but then they just hand up and there's just no way for me to get back into the account to cancel the payment.

Attempted to order a phone

Attempted to order a phone, site took card details for the call plan and completed a PayPal credit agreement for the phone. At the final stage the site crashed (hung) and then returned to the Voxi homepage. I received no order confirmation, but got several emails from PayPal to confirm that it had gone through. I then contacted Voxi social through FB messenger and after approx 20 messages back and forth, I got no help and no interest. Make your own mind up, but in my experience Voxi are utterly incompetent.

Referral Fraud

4 members in the family now have Voxi. Signed up 2 family members (on separate occasions) using the referral rewards process but Voxi is now refusing to honour the referrals saying it's the same email address which was previously used to submit so we're not eligible. This is an absolute joke, it's not in the T&Cs. The referral code worked and they accepted it. Seems like a massive scam. A referral is a referral, irrespective of which email address was used. What do you have to say for yourselves Voxi?

Roaming pass scam.

I am a Voxi customer and travelled to Spain and Chile. I bought a European Roaming Pass and separately a Global Roaming Pass and they didn’t work. I also spent hours on their web chat service trying to fix it; useless and eventually asked for a refund; nothing. Please be aware of this scam.

Had to put one star

Had to put one star! Just tried to register. They took the Β£10 but waited, and waited, and waited as I needed a one time password to register. Went to the online chat and reset password and got 'cut off' tried again and was told to reset password so asked for refund as that had taken 2 hours. Now have to wait 3-5 days for refund. VODAPHONE need to have a word with Voxi as I won't go near either of them.

The best network I've been with

The best network I've been with. I pay Β£12 for 25gb of data but I've never used more than 3 due due to the unlimited social media and music. Signal is the clearest and strongest I've had (s23 ultra) and although their customer service is text only i found the replies via Facebook messenger to be very fast and efficient. Will definitely be sticking with this company
