Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Great choice

To be honest, till a couple of months ago I was on pay monthly sim wit a different provider. And I was like that for years, and I was paying a lot of money every month for similar perks like the ones I have now with Voxi, on less money. But some how I have decide to give up at pay montly “deal” and I choose Voxi. No regrets, great cover, less money.

Zero customer service, Voxi drop doesn't work

Got a Voxi drop code for cheap movie tickets, went to website & it didn't work, said code invalid - only got the code less than 10mins before entering it into the movie website!! Went to Voxi for help, starts with Chatbot where you have to ask twice for an agent before you get one, then the agent is some offshore idiot who doesn't know how to fix your problem & has zero interest in doing so, then makes up lying excuses that don't even match the problem you have just to push you off. Yeah, great service Voxi - NOT!!!! The answer I got was "it's first come first serve" - duh, I know that but I already have a code so I'm not asking about getting one, but those idiots they employ cheap labour in India/Pakistan etc don't give a crap about the business they work for nor their customers. You get ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE when you need help. Their Facebook has the "message" button blacked out so you can't use it - that's how little Voxi care about their customers. I wouldn't recommend this crappy mobile provider.

Avoid VOXI

Avoid VOXI – The Worst Customer Service Experience of My Life If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not switch to VOXI. I have been without my UK phone number for four days due to their incompetence, leaving me unable to receive important calls from my family or banking authentication codes. I was misled by a VOXI agent who assured me that my Vodafone SIM would be automatically overwritten with the VOXI service upon porting. That was a lie—I was left with no service at all. Multiple agents, including Michaelle, Natalie, Bhagesh, and Arif, have repeatedly promised fixes that never materialised, wasting hours of my time. I have since escalated formal complaints to CISAS and the Financial Ombudsman, as VOXI has failed to provide a functioning service while still taking my money. The complete lack of accountability and constant false promises make this the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you want a mobile network that actually works, go elsewhere.

No CS number to call, expensive Europe data

No CS number to call. Only reachable through Chatbot and you need to spend extra time to "convince" the bot to connect you to a real person. When you are connected to a real person, you are only able to speak with them through the chatbot so lots of tying - stupid! And they don't include roaming in Europe which is less than what other service providers can provide (e.g. Lebara provides free data when travelling to Europe). JUST NOTHING BETTER THAN OTHERS SO CHOOSE OTHERS

Porting my number out they left me with…

Porting my number out they left me with no data. And they have no customer support: it's impossible to talk with anyone through their chatbot and you have to hope that someone on the socials reads about your issue.

Used Voxi as a 2nd sim as signal was…

Used Voxi as a 2nd sim as signal was really bad on my contracted phone. Worked brilliantly up until my 02 contract was in and I wanted to port my number to Voxi... and only half the job has been done. When I dial out or text, the now defunct voxi number comes up instead of my Ported number.. Its really causing issues.. Tried to get in touch with Voxi.. it took 28.. yes 28 HOURS to be told... I need to change my Google settings...I have a Samsung S25 Ultra and had the same number in my Samsung info for over 8 years... Absolutely useless customer service from staff with ZERO training... This is my business phone. This non existent customer service is not acceptable

Paid for a pay sim card in…

Paid for a pay sim card in November2024..£12. Never received it.. tried taking to their agents via help line..disaster.. Sent bank transaction details to prove that it was paid for..as the sim was not delivered or activated..Still no payment back..I cancelled my contract. Then in February 2025 they debited my bank account another £12.. In touch with my bank, Wise and they are useless.. No help whatsoever.. have I been in touch with the vendor...! I never authorised any payment.!! Wise up wise or I will move my accounts from you. Voxi repay £24 that you have unlawful taken from my account.

What a way to start business with a new customer

Ordered and payed for a new eSIM on Friday and still not received it after being promised that it would be ready to use within 24 hours! been talking to a robot for 3 days as I was unable to get through to a human but on Monday i finally managed to speak to a human agent (on chat) was told that by Tuesday I would have received an email that will finally allow me to set up my eSIM and access my online voxi account yet ive woke up this morning, checked my emails and still nothing off them! Really needed the eSIM and only ordered it as the online information that they provided stated that I would receive it within 24 hours which was important to me as I urgently needed it, what a waste of my time and loss to me, what a way to start business with a customer voxi! Not happy and will be contacting my bank sometime this morning to get my money returned to me as you sold me a false service based on false advertising! Wouldn’t ever recommend to anyone that urgently needs a new eSIM as you will not get it when told or expected
