The 3rd party towing company called in advance and loaded the vehicle quickly and efficiently. I was kept apprised of the status of the process and received my 1098-C in a timely manner.
The entire process of donating my husband's motorcycle was smooth and was accomplished with minimal effort. The cycle was on a truck and taken away within a day of contacting Vehicles for Veterans, and within less than a month we already were informed that the cycle had sold, for an amount greater than we expected!
They kept their word on all advertising If they said they would call they called they came when they said they would. Even mail came in time table they said. At 89 this was very important when dealing with her baby.

We were given a pick up time and the pick up didn't happen.I waited and waited and had to call several times, getting misdirected by whomever was taking messages. I didn't live where the car was, so this was not enjoyable. After phone calls and lost messages, I had to leave the title and keys in the car with hopes that it would be picked up. Communication was not great. My son served in the Marine corps and I wanted to give back to veterans, but I won't do this again.
The whole process was simple from start to finish. The fella that came and picked up our van was very professional and the paperwork and phone call to confirm pickup was wonderful as well. I will say, though, the receipt has been lost and I will have to be issued a replacement for our DMV.
