Review summary

Reviewers express significant dissatisfaction with kyBoot Shoes, highlighting a troubling trend in both product quality and customer service. While some customers appreciate the comfort and pain relief provided by the shoes, many report issues with durability, claiming that soles disintegrate within months of use. Complaints about customer support are rampant, with individuals noting unresponsive service and difficulties in processing returns. The high price point is frequently criticized, as many feel the quality does not justify the cost. Although a few reviews mention the shoes' effectiveness for specific foot problems, the overwhelming sentiment points to frustration and disappointment. Overall, kyBoot Shoes struggles to meet customer expectations, leading to a predominantly negative perception.

I purchased Kyboot shoes as I was…plantars fasciitis diagnosis

I purchased Kyboot shoes as I was diagnosed with plantars fasciitis in my left foot. Kyboot shoes immediately took away the pain and they were the only shoes I could wear. The only negative is the Kyboot shoes with the high-rebound effect don't offer as much stability as regular shoes. I found that my knees were affected by this and I ended up with knee pain. The newer, low-rebound effect Kyboot shoes offer less cushioning but more stability and may have been best for me but I don't think they were available last year when I had my foot pain. It's nice that Kyboot has options so try both styles before you make your purchase.

ZERO customer service ZERO

Be very careful on the pricy mistake you are about to make. The shoes are very expensive, but as long as you can find the right one that works for you it may be worth it, however you have to pay the shipping to get the shoes and you WILL pay 3 TIMES more of your original shipping cost when you want to return it due to wrong size or excessive heat that shoes cause while you're walking. They are NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE oriented for those who live in the US and are accustomed to customer service, WRONG COMPANY!

Now I can walk again

I'm so happy that I came across kyBoot shoes. I suffered from Plantar fasciitis and walking caused pain in my foot and heal, it made me feel really old to be hobbling around. With these wonderful shoes now I can walk again and it is liberating! I walk everywhere with a great sense of freedom and independence. I have three pairs, an everyday shoe, a sandal and a gold sandal for special occasions, i won't wear anything else.

Most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

My wife and I each bought a pair while in Switzerland last year. At first I had a case of buyers remorse because I have never spent even close to that much on a pair of shoes before but soon got over it! We spent nine weeks in Europe where we walked miles and miles everyday. I don’t think I would have made it with these shoes. Like walking on air! Will be repeat customers.

They did the right thing

My understanding is you can not return an item after 30 days from date of order. My order wasn’t even shipped for 2 weeks after the date of order, due to website having the item in stock but they were not in stock. Kybun was very helpful right up until I wanted to make a return. I entered my email address and bam “we could not find orders for the email address you entered” so I emailed Kybun again. Yep still waiting for a response and now I am 30 days past date of order. I have a feeling I won’t get one either or it will say, so sorry you are past the 30 days so kiss your hard earned money good by. Good news after a few more emails to to kybun they did the right thing and agreed to accept my return. Thank you Carole at Kybun customer support

Been a godsend

Been a godsend. I’m sad to hear they only have 2 year life span. But the cost is small compared to the pain I felt walking before. To date 2 months in my body of fibromyalgia pain is low wearing these shoes. Posture was a big problem for me. Flat feet 😢

I like the Kyboot and have 3 pairs. However, I was surprised and somewhat annoyed to find out that Kyboot estimate a 2 year life but you cannot get the shoes re soled, so you have to throw it away.I do not appreciate the throw away culture, especially for expensive leather shoes, so I will not be buying them anymore

Re- view of my previous Negative comment

I am re-viewing my previous comment which I feel was somewhat unfair. Admittedly the trial boot did not measure up to my expectations but, after several months wearing the boot I have realized that it is now winter and I can walk out every day without the pain I suffered as soon as Winter arrived. Spent many winter days at home because the pain was so severe with normal footwear. These boots have given me a new freedom, one I never experienced for at least 5 winters. My advice if you purchase trial boot it is as it says, I was unlucky and received a pair that were more than a slight fault pair, the stitching was terrible, but to date they have served the purpose. If you feel you are not happy with the trial footwear, return them and another pair will be sent. My boot I hope will see me through this year. I shall certainly be purchasing a perfect pair next winter. Buy these boots if you suffer with foot or toe pain and you will never regret it Five Stars to you +++++

Expensive, comfortable, but TOYAL WASTE OF (a lot of) MONEY !

I bought a brand new pair of Kybun Seouls one month ago and already the soles and sides have started to disintegrate. I wrote to Kyboot and heard from someone called Damaris who said there was nothing Kyboot were prepared to do about it. He said that the soles do disintegrate over time, especially if exposed to the elements or if kept in a cupboard ! I see from other reviews that I'm not the only one to be fed this line over what Kyboot know is a fault with their product. For a start these have not been exposed to ANY extreme weather conditions. And the Seoul hasn't been out for long - should a shoe really be expected to disintegrate after such a short peroid. I wouldn't expect 25 Euro shoes to fall apart like this, let alone 250 Euro shoes. Seriously, if you have money to throw down the drain then by all means consider these as they are comfortable. However, they are not "fit for purpose", and Customer Services at Kyboot acknowledge the problem but refuse to do anything about it. If anyone wants to actually see the farcical emails I've had from Damaris at Kyboot then I'll see if I can get them published in Viz......it's where they belong.

Beware - faulty and no help without proof of purchase

My father bought a pair of shoes in 2018. They cost £238. After wearing them 3 times the sides of the soles started to disintegrate and the underneath of the soles to both feet split from side to side. I went into a Kybun stockists in New York and he said that they were clearly faulty and to contact Kybun. He said that they had been stored in hot, dry heat he thought. We did this and they would do nothing without a proof of purchase. My father, who bought them, has dementia and we cannot find proof. They do not want to help in any way without this. Total waste of money and the company do not seem to care about their customer service. We would have bought them again but not with this experience.

the shoes did not fit well but we could not return them because we had exceeded the 30 day limit to do so. We were out of town and when we returned attempted to return the shoes. We missed the deadline by a few days. We wish some sort of exception could be made for us.

I was in an accident 18 years ago and have had a lot of problems with my right foot. The most I could walk in a day would be 3 miles and then have to deal with pain overnight. Since I've been buying Kyboot over the last year and half I've been able to walk 6 miles a day. Not near the pain that I had when I was only walking 3 miles per day. Thanks Kyboot for saving my feet.

After reading a lot of reviews about…

After reading a lot of reviews about the Kybun shoes, I decided to buy a sandal. I bought a pair of Kybun sandal(URI FG BLACK) last month from Kybun Qatar, worth 385 $ US. On the third day of using the sandal the insole started to disintegrate and black spots appeared on the grey top of both insoles. I took it back to the same shop. The sales man said better keep the sandal to discuss the subject with the management. Next day they called me to say that the sandal is ok, such thing can happen and nothing can be done, they fixed the black spots. Few days after using the sandal again the black spots started to appear. To be honest, I never thought that the insole will disintegrate after such very short period of use. I see from other reviews that I'm not the only one to see this problem. The Kybun sandal is definitly comfortable but the shoes I bought must have manufacturing defects and Kybun Qatar will not admit that. I have taken pictures of the disintegrated parts.

The shoes give my knees & feet extreme relief by absorbing pressure. The style I chose has a design problem where the zipper, eyelet & toe cap seam meet. The thickness in this spot adds pressure to my knuckle. However, I took them back to the store & they stretched that one spot & I walk out in total comfort. I would like them more if the soles weren't so ugly.
