Review summary

Reviewers express significant dissatisfaction with kyBoot Shoes, highlighting a troubling trend in both product quality and customer service. While some customers appreciate the comfort and pain relief provided by the shoes, many report issues with durability, claiming that soles disintegrate within months of use. Complaints about customer support are rampant, with individuals noting unresponsive service and difficulties in processing returns. The high price point is frequently criticized, as many feel the quality does not justify the cost. Although a few reviews mention the shoes' effectiveness for specific foot problems, the overwhelming sentiment points to frustration and disappointment. Overall, kyBoot Shoes struggles to meet customer expectations, leading to a predominantly negative perception.

Wet Feet

Note: I am a UK customer. I bought a pair of jungfrau 17 walking boots about four years back at just under £300 hoping they'd help me keep active with my post traumatic ankle arthritis. Disappointingly my ankle was too painful so I couldn't wear them for the first couple of years. Then I had ankle replacement surgery and discovered I could wear them - wonderful shock absorption and support. Sadly in approximately 15 months the rubber around them cracked in a couple of places and I started getting wet feet. I complained but was told the guarantee had run out - of course I'd had them for much longer than I'd used them. Now I have two bike puncture repair patches on them and continue wearing them though they look a little eccentric. For the cost this is not good and sadly I'm now looking for another type of better quality boot with the equivalent shock absorption.

The wonderful kybun shoe company!

The kybun shoe company is unique in the world. I have used their shoes for many years now and I have shoes for every season and I do not wear any other type of shoes as I feel safe with those shoes. The service does not stop there: they have exercices that one can see on the internet, so I asked for specific exercices for my body and I got spot-on easy exercices that were exactly what I needed to improve my walking pattern, and I have seen the difference very quickly, so I am extremely grateful to have such a company and such service, they are a blessing! I purchased a Luzern shoes for work…

I purchased a Luzern shoes for work about a year ago for £274 including postage. Initially they were very comfortable but after a while I noted that the shoes lost their elasticity and became very squeaky, although the sole was still in very good condition as I have not done much walking in these shoes. Soon after the back heel split. It's a lot of money for a pair of shoes that lasts less than a year.

Love the shoe

Bought the Gstadt green shoe a year ago and love it. It is slightly heavier than regular tennis shoes and I have generally been using it for work where I stand for up to 12hrs. My feet don't hurt as much as they do with regular tennis shoes. I just ran for the first time in this shoes and even though they are heavier my knees felt great and my speed was slightly faster than usual (ran on relatively flat surface). A bit pricey and worth the investment.

Very expensive returns postage

I went for the so called hiking boots- the tread was not deep enough for British terrain, especially mud, much too slippery. About half the depth of my trusty Scarpa's. I have developed plantar fasciitis so thought I would give these a shot. They were ok for comfort but unsuitable otherwise. Additionally, I think they really ought to tell you on the website how expensive a return will be from the UK. Not in small print, but clearly on the front. In addition the website tells you return to Germany but the return slip tells you to return to Switzerland. I couldn't get an answer from customer services so plumped for Switzerland. I bought two pairs for size and to send them back insured would have been £87 as they were so heavy!! I went for the £37 option which was not tracked and only insured up to £100 and risked it. This was only a bit more expensive than the Germany option but obviously I didn't know, and once again they don't tell you. But I was stressed for 12 days until I got a notice that they had processed the refund. £37 to try on two pairs of boots is too steep. :(

Thank your for your fast shipping

Thank your for your fast shipping! My shoes arrived on time. They are perfect presents for Christmas. My bestfriend is very happy with your shoes. I gave him two pairs for this Christmas. I am living alone and he's the only person I can rely on. He deserved to walk on these shoes comfortably. He said these are very useful for his job. I am very happy that he like the shoes. I also bought two pairs for me. I am very impressed with the quality of these shoes. I am looking forward to buy more. Merry Christmas!

AVOID - bad customer service

Bought a pair of shoes for £300 from the Germany shop to be sent to the UK. Their website told me to buy one size up which I did and they were far too big. Returning them cost me £52. They insist on sending the goods back in the original packaging and the box was so heavy and ridiculously big it ended up costing more. When I contacted them about it to ask if they would contribute to this as after all I bought the size according to instructions they said NO. It also cost me £9 to get the shoes here. So I spent £61 for NOTHING!! Thank you!! I will not order another size as you cannot guarantee if will be correct.

Comfort for one year

I bought two pairs of these shoes. They are certainly comfortable, but for durability, I do not give them high marks. After almost exactly 1 year the heels are split, and right at the front, the uppers are coming away from the soles.

Best Shoes Ever!!!

I have bought 5 pairs of kyBoot shoes in the last few years. I suffer from severe over pronation and flat feet. These shoes are the best that I've found for my foot pain. I buy them one size larger than my foot to accommodate my orthotics and foot braces. The price of the shoes is nothing compared to the cost of the custom orthotics and the braces. I think of them as a medical necessity and I couldn't walk nearly as well without them.

Was about to pull the trigger but not now!

Thanks for the honest reviews guys. Was about to buy from these guys but certainly not now. Sounds like a company I want nothing to do with, certainly at those prices. Maybe Kybun should sort out their customer service!

Huge Disappointment... heavy, bulky, stiff and no comfort.

I spent $250 on a pair of shoes that I wore 3 times! The are heavy, bulky, and stiff. I thought by wearing them to work it would help me with breaking them in. Once I did that, they were no longer returnable but I was desperate to have relief from my foot pain! I stand all day long walking back and forth at work on hard concrete floors. I need a comfortable pair of shoes. These are the complete opposite. I would not recommend them if you are seeking comfort. By the end of the day, it feels like I'm lifting a bowling ball because of the stiffness and bulky weight of these shoes. What a huge disappointment.

return cost £81

14:34 (0 minutes ago) to support-en Hello, ORDER WSUK-5521 The boots came in a huge box weighing almost 3kg (boots 1.75kg, box 1.85+kg).. The cheapest return cost from the post office being £81, yes £81. Furthermore the weight is over the maximum a sub-post office (400 yards away) can handle.and therefore needs to be taken to a main post office (2 miles away). This seems to me sharp practice as it's more-or-less the same as the refund, and therefore,it makes no sense to return the boots. but I will, disposing of your OTT packaging and using a black plastic bib bag.
