I had a very disappointing experience with UK Gas Plumbers. At first, things appeared professional: they asked for photos of the installation area and provided a quote based on that. I accepted the quote informally and followed up with a call to ask which boiler model they intended to fit, as I wanted to ensure we aligned our flow and return correctly in advance. Essentially he responded was saying that only an idiot would want to get the flow and return aligned correctly in advance. His tone was really unexpected and unnecessarily condescending. I’m always very polite and helpful, he could have responded in the same way regardless of his answer. Then, just two days before the scheduled work, he asked for a video of the same location we had already photographed — and then increased the price by about 30% with no explanation. He had not previously asked for a video. When I raised concerns about this last-minute change and how we were being treated, I received no response at all.

I've been dealing with UKGP for my three businesses for few years and always found them to be pleasant, informative and trustworthy. Rosie May is a gem. Simple as it may seem, her annual service reminder calls are vital to keep up to date. Great service and I would recommend them to everyone.

From start to finish excellent they carried out taking our four old outdated boilers and replaced with three modern models. Ultra professional very thorough with the way the carried out there work and very helpful I would recommend these to anyone who requires work to their commercial boilers/plumbing well done to team very much appreciated from all in the building.

His service was great, our house was freezing cold and just in 24 hours it was fixed and war again!

We required our commercial gas meter disconnected. We contacted a lot of companies but no one seem to have the necessary certification. We called uk gas plumbers and they was able to do it the same day. 5*

Boiler stopped working. The engineer figured out it was because of a frozen condense pipe. He wrapped some insulation around the pipe outside and a few moments later the boiler started working again and has been running just fine ever since.

Arrived on time, friendly, very helpful and polite, work was done quickly and very reasonably priced. Explained the technical details as well. Excellent service, Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Abusive & incompetent Booked a visit with Ernst on Monday, call out charge £180(inc vat).Agreed. Turned up for 5 mins, said needs to order a part and will be back Tuesday, latest Wednesday. Fair enough. We received an invoice with a payment date of 16th September On Wednesday (9th September, when he was meant to come back) we get a phone call evening time to say he's not coming back until he gets the £180. We got into a bit of an argument about the fact that on invoice it says payment due on 16th September, and that surely we pay once he finishes the job? (like all other companies) But he didn't have any of it, he said we must pay now or he's not coming back. He kept on saying which big companies he works for / with, we said we don't care who he works for, we just want the job done. So... feeling harrased and pushed into doing so... We paid From our side - we were worried we will pay £180 and the guy will never come back to fix it. Well guess what - THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!!! Literally a minute after we paid - he txted to say he is not coming back to finish the job! Apparently we were too rude for him to come back. What a lovely excuse to get £180 for 5 mins of looking at gas pipes........ He kept on saying we are too small company and we can't afford him! We don't think of ourselves as a small company (1523 pubs, of which obviously all will be warned about this company) You have been warned ( again... As I see we're not the only one...) Though they will probably say they don't know who we are either... Or say some horrendous stuff about us ;p this is how you many money in this world... Hopefully you're not going to be as silly as we have ;( Make your own mind up! COMMENTS TO ERNST REPLY You actually quoted us another £180 (inc vat) for another hour of work :p funny how it changed to less (£90) after we left a review ;p Obviously tried to rip us off again. In previous reply you said it would be £90 but removed it from your comments after you realised you got caught 😂 People who read the reviews will make up their own minds ;) Clearly you can afford to upset many customers, because you work with huge companies and boast about it. "Small" companies don't matter to you We did agree to you coming back ( even for the £180 plus parts) so we can afford it, but you must have decided we are not easy to rip off again ;p We found a decent company who doesn't lie, and doesn't abuse or harrass anyone Ps. Can you stop calling us, nor me or my manager will take any more abuse and harassment from you! We paid you so just leave us alone!!!! Everyone will know that The mouse droppings comment is a revenge ;) well done ;)
