Good Experience

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Mr. Khalid Masood at TSB Birmingham New Street. He was incredibly professional, polite, and went above and beyond to help me. Mr Masood assisted me in resolving an issue with my credit card, which had high interest, and also guided me in setting up a life insurance policy that will provide security for my two young children in the future. His knowledge, patience, and willingness to ensure I fully understood everything made the experience smooth and stress-free. Today’s visit to Stowmarket branch

I visited the Stowmarket branch this afternoon without an appointment, to deal with what became two challenging funds transfers taking some 1.5hrs to conclude. I was dealt with by Jane Riches who provided a wonderful service insisting that she would make the required transfers before close of play. The TSB computer required us to contact their fraud line which in turn led to approximately 4 telephone conversations with that division before the transaction could be processed. Jane kept her cool ensuring that I did not have to return the following day to complete the matter for which I was very grateful. I hope the TSB realise what a valuable asset they have in Jane

Spent all day today trying to wake the…

Spent all day today trying to wake the dead at there end, finally got thru and halfway thru trying to do what I rung for and he put the phone down. Customer service is attrocious. Try the local branch to busy and put phone down.worst customer service ever....avoid this shambolic bank.

i have currently changed banks after 48 years to TSB i have changed 3 accounts and TSB have helped me with my life insurance, the transition was really smooth due to the professionalism and caring personality helping me each step of the way with patience and understanding the lady who helped me was Claire Stubbs and i would like to say she is an asset to the company and TSB are very lucky to have her

TSB Advertising gimmick

Advertising gimmick - free entry to a prize draw if you transfer a lump sum fund from another bank to TSB, but there is no phone call to call them if you are new customer! Is there a number to call for new customers? Where do you go from there? I wish they would make life a bit more easy....

Outstanding service from Avi at TSB Norwich

Outstanding service from Avi at the Norwich branch! Avi took her time to explain the different types of savings accounts, so I could make an informed choice, and then helped me set them up, so they we linked to my online account. I also had transfers to do to other banks and she completed them for me, with a smile and lots of patience. It was very busy in branch, but she took the time to make sure everything was ok. Thanks Avi - you made several tasks I've been putting off for ages easy and seamless!

I had such a lovely experience with TSB…

I had such a lovely experience with TSB Bank branch at Harrow. The manager Michalina Fabian was absolutely amazing 👏. I experiences a fraud and was very distressed .I was taken care straight away atvthe branch. I didn't have to wait at all.the Manager Mrs Michalina was so quick and very polite. She made me sit down and helped with my card issues. She also explained to me other options I could use with TSB I was not aware before. I was very impressed with such an amazing service. The team took care of me when I felt distressed. I value the service and its wonderful how the team works with care . I would recommend the service at Harrow branch. Don't sit on your own with worries! Just go and ask for professional help. THANK YOU VERY MUCH Michalina

Junior is an amazing colleague, Chatham TSB

Junior from the TSB Chatham branch was able to quickly and effectively help me out of my credit card situation and put in place a set amount of payment each month with end date which means i paid my credit card off in one go and soon will be debt free. Thanks TSB. Please know that Junior was very friendly and very kind in the manner he helped me.

Truly Unprofessional way to handle calls

This review is for the way telephone calls are managed by the bank. Firstly, trying to call the branch on the number where they called me from doesnt take me to a branch but it took me to someone I presume working from home who just woke up and had me on loud speaker. After 17 minutes of the phone ringing, when the lady did pick the phone up I had to repeat myself many times for herto understand what I was trying to say and that a minor issue needs to be sorted. She just put me back to the start on the process without any good reason. Pathetic service of a business customer paying many hundreds in service charges each month.

I had an online appointment with Matty and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly, informative and understanding. Made me feel at ease from the very beginning of the conversation. TSB have a wonderful staff member in Matty.

There were a number of different things I needed to sort for my account(s) and she was fantastic, explained all my options and was so patient whilst I sorted bit my side. Impossible to make an online payment…

There is a severe flaw in TSB's online payment authentication process. I needed to place an order for Euros at a supermarkets travel money department. I filled everything in on the website, put my bank card details in and went to pay, but a box comes up from TSB telling me they are sending me a confirmation pass code via SMS and I need to enter the code in the box. I get a floating notification indicating that I have a text message from TSB, but I then have to leave the payment page I'm on and go onto my messages to see the pass code. When I go back to enter the code, because I left that payment page, the transaction is cancelled. I go through the whole process again and TSB send me another code and I have the same problem. The result is, it is absolutely impossible to complete the online transaction. This has happened many times with other online payments as well. I phoned customer services but they were no help. The lady just kept saying I need to enter the code that was sent via SMS. I kept explaining that I need to leave the payment page and go onto my messages in order to get that code and all she could say was that I need to change my phones notification settings. I don't as it is already set to every form of notification, including floating notifications. The code is not displayed in the floating notification, you have to open your messages to see it. The only way around this problem is by having two people involved in completing the online transaction. I had to phone my wife and tell her to have her phone on loud speaker while she places the order using my bank card and all my details and then when I receive the code, I read it out to her for her to enter on her phone. It is absolutely ridiculous and an extremely flawed method of authentication that has caused so many problems. A simple question for TSB....how do I complete on online payment, when I have to leave the secure payment page to go to my SMS messages in order to get the code and by leaving the secure payment page, the transaction I was about to make is ended.

Don’t switch Can’t switch

Trying to switch accounts and it simply won’t let me. It let me open a TSB account but I can’t switch, the link just times out. This means I won’t get the cash for switching and that was the purpose of opening a new account. Tried phoning and having been on hold for 50 minutes I gave up. I tried to complete the online survey but they obviously didn’t like my answers as when it came to submitting- guess what - TIMED OUT!!!! Im now left with another bank account. Please don’t try to switch with TSB.
