Poor. Booked a holiday where they chose a transfer 3 hours from hotel. Then charge me 300 extra to change to the airport closer to resort. I then see my holiday including transfers 400 cheaper and they won’t price match. Last time I will use them. Complained to them told nothing they can do

We recently booked a holiday through Travel Republic, paying the full price for what we expected to be a relaxing and enjoyable break. However, upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed to discover that the main pool at the hotel was undergoing refurbishment something we were not informed about on the summary or landing page of the sale only after spending over a hour on the phone once in Abu Dhabi I was informed it's 8 pages into to the importance information. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this particular accommodation, and not being told in advance meant we had no opportunity to change plans or choose an alternative. Had we known, we would have selected a different hotel as this was a last minute 10 year wedding anniversary trip. It feels incredibly unfair and misleading to charge full price for a holiday when a key facility is out of service. When we reached out to Travel Republic to raise the issue, we felt that our concerns were not taken seriously, and no proactive communication or resolution was offered. This experience has left us feeling let down and frustrated, and we’ll be thinking twice before booking through Travel Republic again. Transparency and customer care were seriously lacking. Just hope you don't spoil anyone else's holiday / special occasion in future as you could easily solve this by stating the works being carried out on the summary page at start in bold writing to inform customers of the works.

Good price, lots of different options.

This hotel is gorgeous all the staff are very friendly .The rooms are really nice and spacious. The restaurants are first class the food was all hot and cooked to perfection the adults restaurant only opened on Thursday and was closed at lunch so there was a bit of queue for lunch .The animation team are all fantastic they really do put alot of effort in to makesure everyone is enjoying their holiday. The pool areas are very clean and all flooring is new the only thing that is different as I have stayed here 4 times is the childrens pools it is only play areas now no water only bits coming from buckets so children was in the 2 main pools adults pool area was very busy every day .
